Past glory in a miserable state. Fantastic piece of art still reminding us of its past grandeur, hosting original furniture and tapestry (in a shabby state) and lots of work of art. Worth a visit. Take a free guided tour. The guide was excellent and very well prepared. The garden is a beauty -- but in a poor state and badly kept. The long and crescent pools between the Villa and the stable are beautiful. But unfortunately very badly kept. Full of dust. Still worth a visit. Highly recommended are the paintings and the decorations on the ceiling and walls of most of the rooms. I wish the villa could be cleaned, the furniture dusted and the window panes cleaned. The well-known maze was closed. There is a parking lot close to the ticket counter (inside a gloomy bookshop). You need about 3-4 hours to see the fifty something rooms. Very unclean toilets.

One of our favorite stops in Italy! We were practically the only people walking through the palace, which was such a refreshing way to experience a beautiful place in over-touristed Venice. The gardens are lovely and we had a great time in the labyrinth!

Love it because I can enter it for free (all the historical science students can enter it for free). Over there, we can see the Pisani Palace and maybe see how Napoleon renovated the palace. Too bad that the maze (its main attraction) is closed during the covid. I'm sure that it'll be fun if we can just run around the maze and taking pictures. The rooms are beautiful and so are the frescoes, but they're not that well-maintained.

Neat Villa that would be great to visit during the greener summer months when guided tours are available. The villa is big with much of the rooms still being renovated to bring out the period elegance. The reflecting pool is nice, but stay away from touching the water...it looks nasty. The villa grounds are okay for the winter months. The highlight of the grounds is the maze. It was fun and challenging. The added benefit of visiting in the winter months is the low number of visitors.

Very beautiful Villa with amazing park. Unfortunately the labyrinth is currently closed due to maintenance. But is still worth to visit. Check the working hours if you intend to visit it during the working days.

Little Versailles in Veneto! Beautiful palace and garden - if it somehow fits to your agenda visit it! Just a note: the palace you see on the photos is just the small ;-) fake front at the end of the garden taken from the big and real palace that we were in and that gives access to the big hall on the third photo

114 rooms but saw quite a few. Majestic and massive.

Absolutely stunning. You won't expect such an imposing, stately and steeped in history place. The Versailles of Venice I would call it ;) worth a visit and a great place to dig into Venetian and Italian history!
