★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place built in a beautiful ancient building, formerly a monastery and, after the Napoleonic wars, the city courthouse.
This municipal cultural center includes a nice cafe, a library and numerous reading and studying rooms. The main hall, formerly a cloister, often hosts exhibitions and events, and is equipped with sofas that can be used by visitors. Check it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I put 4 stars because the lady who received me was kind. Unfortunately, due to the covid restrictions, there is no possibility to use the library to study. There is however a study room somewhere in the building on the first floor, but after using it for almost 30 minutes, I got bored because the mobile data on my phone wasn't functioning at all, no wifi so I couldn't use my laptop either. I had to take a premature exit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very nice though a bit expensive. 5 stars though because the guide was stellar, I'm not an art passionate but I couldn't stop listening to her. The visit lasted almost an hour but it was nice.
They even have lockers to keep your belongings in, and it's very practical as you don't want to carry them through the whole visit.

Having become too small to perform its functions, it has undergone an effective redevelopment and now hosts interesting exhibitions and cultural events of all kinds. Adjacent is the marvelous church of S. Gaetano, perfectly restored, an example of Renaissance and Baroque architecture containing a wonderful cycle of frescoes culminating in the large vault that opens onto the entire width of the quadrangular building.
