Villa Moschella Taormina

Camere sobrie, terrazza fantastica con vista mare, libertà di entrare e uscire quando si ha voglia anche notte inoltrata, ma al di là delle camere devo spendere due parole per i titolari. Giovanni sempre sorridente e disponibile. Un ragazzo veramente a modo e Serafina che mi resterà sempre nel cuore. Donna sicula di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità che è di pochi. Una mamma anche con i clienti, attenta alle esigenze anche più piccole. Vederla la mattina è un buon giorno con i fiocchi. Grazie mille per tutto.

Sympathischer Hausbesitzer der eigentlich nichts mit Gastronomie zu tun hat. Saubere Zimmer, kleine Bäder, schöner Ausblick von den Terrassen ... aber 10 Euro pro Tag für einen Parkplatz der am Grundstück liegt - also sowieso zum Haus gehört ... Taormina ist sehr süss! Die Villa ist gut gelegen.

Clean, comfortable, with a tiny sea view from my single room. Easy walk to furnicular to taormina.

Very nice place with spectacular breakfast! Communication was a bit difficult and it was a pity because otherwise we had a perfect stay.

Incredibly warm reception especially for the off season. A great location next to the beach, restaurants, and the cable car to the old city. A great value for the money.

There is NO SEA VIEW in the single room on the contrary of explanation. If I went to the end of narrow balcony, I might see, but I couldn't relax, of coures. It is exaggerated AD. When I was talking about the view to the man(one of staffs), he was reluctant to stop playing a game. Even in this point, it was impolite. Although I tried to go to the balcony, DIRTY brown water with insects was falling down on my chair in front of the window in the balcony. It was impossible to change the hotel at that time, and completely waste of time, so I gave up. When I checked-out, the lady asked whether everything is OK or NOT. So I said NO. She asked why, so I told about the view. She said. "There is a view. For other people, it is not problem. Only for you it is problem. " She started to be angry, and shouting with NO apology, only excuse. Maybe she knew that that view was terrible. If she had believed that the view was perfect, she would not have been angry but confused. For them, problem was only cleaness. So I mentioned about dirty water from the third floor. But she ignored. Finally, I became angry too! At the first time, I was not angry. I had already given up the view! However, her atitude made me angry. She asked, then I answered. That is all. Why did she ask? Just for getting praise? She said. " it (my atitude) is really bad in Italy!!! YOU ARE A BAD CUSTOMER" For me, her behavior was incredible. I have a question. In Italy, is it usual that a customer can't have an opinion against the service, but the owner can abuse a customer? Although she became quiete at the moment after I payed, she started shouting about compliment of me again! It sounds really rude. It was obvious that they only wanted me to pay as usual without apology and compensation. They didn't mind feeling of travelers and reputation of Sicily. Maybe it contains a difference of culture. She never admited my claim. And also I am Asian. Sometimes it makes European unkind. Due to this experience, my memory in Taormina ended with disgusting feeling. I'll never come again. (The woman told that it was no problem for her! What a unpleasantness !) I really looked forward the sea view! I came here only for the landscape! I was so disappointed. P.S. I mentioned that I would write a bad review. She said "NO PROBLEM" Be careful to book the SINGLE room. We spend a couple of days at the lovely Villa Moschella in Taormina and we were overwhelmed! This vacation was one of our absolute favorites! The building itself is so romantic - we got a room with the roof terrace from which we had a beautiful view of the ocean and the Sicilian landscape. The breakfast was seriously the best I ever had - The owner, a sweet elderly lady and her family made the breakfast every morning freshly and with love. My favorite part of it were the delicious crispy croissants with powder sugar that were so good that I tired to find something similar after our vacation in Germany but couldn't. In addition, the owner was so kind and friendly. She She gifted us one of the traditional delicious Sicilian marmelades because we didn't know where to buy them. Everyone was going above and beyond to make the guests happy. I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast more!
