Sweet and cozy hostel in a nice location. Beautiful views and friendly and chill atmosphere. Helpful and cool staff members. I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely come back.

I had stayed in this hostel for 3 nights, August 2019 and I have to say something about. I am a Portuguese girl traveling alone. I arrived at the hostel and the cleaner gave me the check in time. With no information at all, not even a simple map of the city.The owner of this hostel never contact me on this 3 nights. And for the last day I asked the cleaner were I had to pay she always said that I had the number of the owner and I had Tolken to her before. witch was rong. I never talked with this lady, called “Joanna”until the last day of my stay. Everything went well, the cleanliness, the room, the local it self it was very good.situated!! What, I what to say is that I felt abandoned, like take this, this your room, stay here!! It shouldn’t be this way!! Anyway I enjoyed everyday in Taormina!!

Great place to stay at. The location is amazing.The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also the facility is very well kept and clean. I really enjoyed my experience at Cohen Hostel. I will definitely come back!

Amazing hostel with a great view on Isola Bella and the sea. The hostel is sparkling clean. 5 minutes walk to the cable car, which takes you to the city center. 5 minutes to Isola Bella, a beautiful island. One thing to note is that when it is off season, most restaurants and shops near the hostel are closed.

This hostel is amazing! Very friendly host and meet some great people in the process. You might not be in the city center but you're literally across the street from the beach and about a 2 minute walk to the fernaculer that takes you to the city center. I highly recommend this place if staying in Taromina! P.S. the photo I posted was taken from the balcony.

Paradise hostel!!!What a view, what an ambient - just incredible spot to stay at! The hostel has exceptional location facing Isola Bella and the spectacular beaches of Taormina. The center of the historical town is a short walk away , also reachable by a cable car. The accommodation is absolutely stunning with immaculate cleanliness and hand made artistic decorations. Would recommend it 100 % !!!

A disappointing experience for the cost. I would only recommend staying here as a group of 4+ as this seems to be the point at which it becomes a ‘hostel’ price. Unfortunately, as a couple we paid €150 per night for the sea view apartment and for this price range we were expecting more comfort and quality. The bed was so hard that it was almost unbearable to sleep on. After night one we took the mattress from the sofa bed in the lounge room into the bedroom on the floor to sleep on (as it was cooler and quieter there). Several things broken in the apartment (fridge door handle, bathroom door). Milk jug from previous guests found rancid in the cupboard which made the apartment smell. Redeeming features are the beautiful view and excellent location near Isola Bella and the funicular into Taormina town. Washing machine also handy and the air con in the bedroom was very welcome. Due to our concerns over comfort/quality for what we were being charged, we cut our stay short by 2 out of 5 planned nights. We initially looked at moving after night 1 but as it was peak season/COVID closures there was little else available. We moved to Siracusa and paid €150 per night for a exceptionally comfortable boutique hotel. Whilst we appreciated Joanna’s friendly and communicative manner, our Cohen House experience was not very relaxing. With a few small improvements and a new mattress this place could be an absolute gem, worthy of that price tag.

It is a blessing to stay here. We were traveling with 2 small kids. Service is great, from the smooth check in to our check out. Free parking nearby, apartment is just in front of Isola Bella. Will be difficult to stay in this area for people with buggy or on the wheelchair, because of the stairs to the building, however there much more steps down to the beach :) A lot of places to eat next to the apartment and it is soundproof. We did not hear any noises from the street. We have stayed in mid October. 100% recommended. We stayed in other few B&B in Sicily and it was the best place!
