G	Gaetano Cavaleri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parco del Groppallo ..passo dello Zerbino 1 .. villa Balbi Durazzo Groppallo e una villa del 500 , di Genova e situata nel quartiere di Castelletto in un'area che quando la villa fu costruita si trovava al di fuori delle mura cittadine ed era incolta in lingua ligure Zerbo da cui deriva il toponimo Zerbino costruita tra il 1599 e il 1603 come residenza estiva dei nobili genovesi Stefano e Giovanni Battista Balbi , nel 700 passo' a Marcello III Durazzo , quindi alla famiglia Groppallo . E ora di proprietà della famiglia Castelbarco Abani ..ed e affittata come sede di riunioni ed eventi . L'architettura della villa segue la tradizionale tripartizione Alessiana della facciata . Anche l'impostazione interna e tradizionale con ambienti centrati attorno alle stanze principali .La decorazione interna ancora ben preservata include gli affreschi seicenteschi al piano nobile di Domenico Piola e Gregorio De Ferrari . Quest'ultimo l'autore dell'affresco del salone centrale , rappresentante il tempo e le stagioni , il piano terra rinnovato in stile neoclassico dal Tagliafichi nel 700 ha una grande sala aperta al giardino decorata da Giovanni Barabino , e Michele Canzio . IL parco fu rimodernato nell' 800 con terrazzamenti, scaloni, un ninfeo , e una grotta romantica . Groppallo Park ..pass of the Zerbino 1 .. villa Balbi Durazzo Groppallo is a 16th century villa in Genoa located in the Castelletto district in an area that when the villa was built was outside the city walls and was uncultivated in the Ligurian language Zerbo from which the toponym Zerbino derives, built between 1599 and 1603 as the summer residence of the Genoese nobles Stefano and Giovanni Battista Balbi, in 700 it passed to Marcello III Durazzo, then to the Groppallo family. It is now owned by the Castelbarco Abani family .. and is rented as a venue for meetings and events. The architecture of the villa follows the traditional Alessian tripartition of the facade. Even the internal and traditional setting with rooms centered around the main rooms. The still well preserved internal decoration includes the seventeenth-century frescoes on the main floor by Domenico Piola and Gregorio De Ferrari. The latter the author of the fresco in the central hall, representing time and seasons, the ground floor renovated in neoclassical style by Tagliafichi in 700 has a large room open to the garden decorated by Giovanni Barabino, and Michele Canzio. The park was modernized in the 19th century with terraces, stairways, a nymphaeum, and a romantic grotto.
