★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overlooking Via XX Settembre, a stunning looking Church, great example of Romanesque architecture with its distinct striped façade. It's a fascinating experience inside with the dome, octagonal in shape, dominating the front of the interior. The church's restoration was between 1946-1955, then was reconsecrated. This was part of an abbey. It had survived for centuries even after heavy bombing by The Allies in WWII.
