P	Piyush Sharma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful of this shop as the owner is a scam artist... stubborn, abusive and be aware if he offers you to stitch a jacket in a day The owner tried forcing down a poor quality product on to us and the overall attitude of this shop owner is that the customer is wrong and that he is always right. The owner isnt at all ready to believe that the jacket he has stitched is of poor quality leather and stitched product doesnt fit my wife well and by the end starts abusing us in Italian saying "go to hell" in a very bad way. He tries to show that the jacket fits perfectly on his daughter who was 7 inch taller than my wife. This business needs to be named & shamed so that others like me aren’t duped by this cheating business. He charged me the full amount when taking the order and we returned the jacket when we saw that the jacket was made of poor quality leather and that it wasn't even stitched properly and this shop owner hasn't yet refunded the money (€390). You will be amazed at the audacity and sheer crookedness of this Italian scam master. So listen to this folks - the shop owner now has the jacket and he also gets to keep the money and the customer who has literally nothing is being told that there is an old Italian law that protects such crooks shop keeper. My advice is do not do business with this shop else you may be duped. People like him should be put behind bars and locked up for running a scam business.

The jackets and purses did not feel of very good quality for the price they are being advertised for. Better to go to a branded store where you know you are getting a quality product for that price.

There are so many beautiful things in this store, all handmade by the owner: bags in lots of different styles, jackets, belts and wallets. Everything is reasonably priced and the items all have prices on them. I was in Venice and Florence before coming to Rome and visited a number of leather stores. If I knew about this store before, I would have purchased all my leather goods here. The owner is extremely nice and his work is superb and of high quality!! He knows his leathers. I walked pass this shop while returning from the colosseum today. I feel in love with a bright fushia bag in 'Very Pel's shop window. I highly recommend 'Very Pel' to anyone looking for quality handmade leather goods (made in italy) by an italian ??. I did not feel pressured to buy from this store. The owner was not pushy at all. He let me look without suggesting I buy anything and he helped me when I asked for help. Thanks again for the best shopping experience in Italy!! ???? If I am ever in Rome I will definitely swing by 'Very Pel' again!! And I will definitely recommend this store to anyone visiting Rome!! ?
H	Holly Calametti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best leather shop in Rome! I ran across this shop on my last day in Rome. We talked to the owner, who told us that he made everything in the shop himself. There were jackets, bags, wallets, belts, etc. Everything in there was beautiful. My husband and I both purchased items from there, he got a wallet, I got a small purse. Upon my arrival in the US, I contacted the owner and asked him if he could make me another bag in a different color. He helped me pick out colors, sent me pictures and it was done in a few days. The bag was shipped to me on a Monday and I received it that Friday. Very happy with my purchase - I will be buying another one from him soon!
