M	Miranda Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for an authentic Italian leather bag, wallet, or belt...then look no further. Leather Craftsman is the real deal. The older couple that makes the products have been there for over 40 years and are absolutely wonderful. They have a workshop in the back which you see them working on the products right there. I bought a gorgeous small backpack and they even offered to make a custom tag for me. Do yourself a favor and skip all the cheap outlet stores and go for the authentic hand made products.
R	R Dyas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You must visit this shop while you are in Rome! I stumbled upon it by accident (while following an adorable puppy lol) and was so happy to find it. The couple make all of their leather goods right in the back of the shop and have a really amazing selection at such reasonable prices. They will also monogram almost anything for you (either directly on the piece or on a color coordinated leather circle). I was ready to take home 90% of the store and spend all my money here. It's def worth a trip here while in Rome and save it as a great place for gifts and for yourself! Just wish I could order more stuff to the states.

The price is more expensive but the quality is 4 or 5 times better than the rest. I paid 170 euros for this bag and it’s one of the best buys I ever got from Rome. Can’t recommend it enough and highly encourage everyone to get one quality leather product (or two ;) ) from here and forget the rest of the tourist traps! Grazie!
E	Emilio Faccini-Yazdi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place to go!!! Went after reading the reviews as written here and was not disappointed. Was helped by the owners who have been there since 1970s. I picked a belt and the gentlemen fitted it by cutting and reattaching the buckle. After such a personal and friendly service I returned the following day and picked up a further 2 belts, leather valet tray and a key pouch! Some products are made by the gentlemen and his team themselves other products aren’t but all are fully leather and of higher quality in my opinion than compared to the other leather shops you see around Rome. Prices are very competitive! Would have loved to have purchased a bag but maybe next time!

We bought around $1000 worth of goods and customer service was not satisfactory ! The owner gentleman Aldo was very nice tho… We were kinda of disappointed :(

Here you will find truly handcrafted, one of a kind leather bags, purses, wallets, etc. made by Aldo & Natalina who learned the trade as children & have been in business since 1970. In the front part of the store you will see the items for sale, and in the back you will see Aldo & Natalina working on their current craft. If desired, they will embed your initials in whatever you purchase. I bought my first purse from them in 2017 and it’s still in great shape. I’ve also bought another purse for myself and 2 for my girls. Additionally, I’ve purchased wallets, key chains, etc. Everything has held up very well and I adore each item. Aldo & Natalina are a very sweet couple.
T	Todd O'Rourke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend Leather Craftsman high enough. Seriously, they’re a must see spot if you’re interested in bringing home some fine Italian leather. What drew me to this location was that they make all of their bags on premise in the back of the building. You can even watch the husband work if you ask politely. The wife was one of the most patient women I’ve met. My girlfriend easily spent 90 minutes in the store just browsing and looking at different bags for her and her mother. I, meanwhile, bought my grandmother a new bag, my brother a passport holder, and my grandfather a glasses case within the first five minutes of being there. The best part is, they’re surprisingly affordable. I was shocked that I didn’t spend more than I did. If you buy anything there, they will add your initials for no extra cost. It’s a fantastic way to personalize your gifts. I’ll absolutely visit again the next time I’m in Rome.
