It's still part of Milan's skyline and a monument of the city but when you're on the street below it, it's dirty and lonely (even though there is a metro station entrance near it). It's only worth seeing it from a far...unless they do another "design week" event like 2 years ago...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great building. Seems a bit odd along the skyline of Milan but still is admirable. Does look a bit lik it's falling apart, but must be appreciated in the context of its architectural importance for post-modernism in Italy and the spread of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing architecture from amazing cathedral. The view of one from the other is thought provoking. also worth noting that there is a very handy car park just beneath the torre velasca. Park here to visit the cathedral.
