Consigliabile
Who would say that in the center of Milan there is a piece of Colosseum? And yet, walking with attentive eyes and without the usual frenzy, but much better with an expert guide in this kind of tour, it is possible to discover that even Milan had its Roman Circus, used for fights between gladiators, chariot races and so on in vogue at that time. Today the remains are small, drowned among the surrounding buildings, but it is certainly useful to know these peculiarities that give the city more charm. recommended

In the center of Milan there are these remains of ancient Rome. Well cordoned off. Clear aerial photography and map with easy to understand description in Italian and English. I went with my 10 year old granddaughter who understood and appreciated the archaeological site. Too bad it's completely free of signs to get there. To be seen

Little or rather we could say anything about what was an imposing Roman circus in the current city of Milan and that over the centuries has left us only a few small stone walls that only archaeologists can interest but that Being part of the story, if you are in the area you can go through simple curiosity. Explanatory panels show what it was at the time.

People have given this less than 5 stars because of what they currently see here, but it's important to look beyond that and try to understand what it once was. Looking at a small bit of something as old as the Colosseum in Rome, but unfortunately in ruin by chance due to the future inhabitants. This place has inspired me. I am inspired.
