Ook het beste startpunt om de speciale geschiedkundige en natuur historische omgeving per voet te verkennen. Gemankeerde wandelpaden die helaas ook al zijn ontdekt door mountainbikers... Da's minder op drukke dagen. Museum is ok but not really special. A beautiful view here. Also the best starting point to explore the special historical and historical environment by foot. Failed hiking trails that unfortunately have already been discovered by mountain bikers ... That's less on busy days.

Merita molto la parte esterna, c'è un parcheggio vicino e un bar-bruschetteria con buoni prodotti. Beautiful only for the panoramic view of the lake, then as a museum it is a bit lacking in things to see. The outside is very deserving, there is a nearby parking and a bar-bruschetteria with good products.

E’ al lato di un bar i cui gestori pensano ad aprire e chiudere la struttura il cui ingresso è Gratuito. Al piano terra si segue il percorso archeologico, con pannelli bilingui (in Italiano e Inglese) attraverso una scelta di reperti esposti all'interno di vetrine, che illustra gli insediamenti del sito pluristratificato della Rocca e del Sasso, quello della Pieve di S. Maria e quello in riva al lago, con resti di un abitato palafitticolo dell'Età del Bronzo. Dalla Rocca DICONO che è possibile vedere i resti di un antico castello medievale e di altre strutture ancora più antiche. Io non ho visto granché se non un panorama mozzafiato del lago ed anche una visione del Parco della Naturale dove si trovano alberi e cespugli autoctoni, come il Carpino nero, la Quercia roverella, il Pungitopo, il Caprifoglio e l'Elleboro che convivono con alberi e cespugli propri della Macchia Mediterranea. Near the parking lot, there is the Valtenesi Archaeological Civic Museum. It is beside a bar whose managers think to open and close the structure whose entrance is Free. On the ground floor you follow the archaeological route, with bilingual panels (in Italian and English) through a choice of exhibits displayed inside showcases, which illustrates the settlements of the multi-layered site of the Rocca and del Sasso, that of the Pieve di S. Maria and the one by the lake, with the remains of an inhabited pile-dwelling from the Bronze Age. From the Rocca they say that it is possible to see the remains of an ancient medieval castle and other even older structures. I have not seen much if not a breathtaking view of the lake and also a vision of the Parco della Naturale where there are native trees and bushes, such as the black hornbeam, the downy oak, the butcher's broom, the honeysuckle and the hellebore that coexist with trees and bushes typical of the Mediterranean scrub.

Il museo è su due piani, il piano terra presenta alcune teche con reperti archeologici ritrovate nella zona e alcuni manufatti che si possono toccare, il secondo piano invece ha dei plastici della rocca con percorsi che si snodano nella valle e la ricostruzione della rocca e ci sono anche spiegazioni della storia e della fauna e flora della zona museum located near the fortress of manerba. Sia la pizza che il panino erano molto buoni, e seduti al tavolino con il panorama del lago è stata una sosta molto gradita. Lo consiglio e inoltre c'è un ampio e comodo parcheggio a due passi dal Museo. I went to the Rocca di Manerba in the evening, after a walk with a splendid panorama I stopped at the Bar of the Civic Museum. Both the pizza and the sandwich were very good, and sitting at the table with the view of the lake was a very welcome stop. I recommend it and there is also a large and convenient parking area a stone's throw from the Museum.
