β β β β β Pranzare qui Γ¨ sempre un'avventura meravigliosa! Abbiamo pranzato un sabato di giugno, all'aperto e vicino all'orto, in una cornice suggestiva.
Tutti i pianti sono bellissimi, molto curati, con abbinamenti insoliti e soprattutto molto buoni. C'Γ¨ un'attenzione particolare ai prodotti freschi e locali, prodotti a marchi Parco Ticino, e alla loro valorizzazione.
Qui abbiamo scoperto l'incredibile storia del mais e qui viene utilizzata una tecnica particolare, la nixtamalizzazione, che arriva dal centro America, per rendere questo prodotto piΓΉ ricco e sano. Abbiamo preso il tamal con i funghi: una massa di mais (una specie di polenta) avvolta nella foglia della pannocchia da scartare come un regalo!
Una menzione speciale va fatta ai dolci che sono davvero eccezionali.... e trovate sempre anche piatti vegani e vegetariani.
Il personale Γ¨ gentile e l'ambiente accogliente, semplice ma curato e pulito. Gabriella al servizio ci racconta questo mondo con amore e Ester e Daniele in cucina ci portano la loro passione sul piatto.
... e dopo pranzo una bellissima passeggiata sulla via Gaggio o lungo i canali, alla scoperta del Parco del Ticino
Having lunch here is always a wonderful adventure! We had lunch on a Saturday in June, outdoors and near the vegetable garden, in a suggestive setting.
All the cries are beautiful, well cared for, with unusual and above all very good combinations. There is particular attention to fresh and local products, produced under the Parco Ticino brands, and to their enhancement.
Here we discovered the incredible history of corn and here a particular technique is used, nixtamalization, which comes from Central America, to make this product richer and healthier. We took the tamal with mushrooms: a mass of corn (a kind of polenta) wrapped in the leaf of the cob to be unwrapped as a gift!
A special mention should be made to the desserts which are truly exceptional .... and you always find vegan and vegetarian dishes too.
The staff is kind and the environment is welcoming, simple but nice and clean. Gabriella at the service tells us about this world with love and Ester and Daniele in the kitchen bring their passion to the plate.
... and after lunch a beautiful walk on Via Gaggio or along the canals, to discover the Ticino Park
