★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Osterie in Bologna are cozy places where you should feel and eat like home (I'm born and raised here) but with your friend around you. At Vagh in Uffezzi the only good thing is food because the owner screw everything else: arrogant, hasty and also slow service. They will treat you exactly in the opposite way as they should in such a place. If you're looking for a good place where to really enjoy such Bologna's experience you've plenty of other choices because you're basically not welcome here but you are just a wallet full of cash for them and they treat you accordingly. TO AVOID.

I thought if really want to write this review since is already almost always full.
But really since I read some non totally positive comments I felt the urgence to write mine: those that didn't put 5 stars are defintly people that don't understand about food and about culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small restaurant and the lighting is dim. It's atmosphere is OK but the food needs work. 8€ for 2 pieces of delicatesse but half the slab is inedible fat. It's also too salty for my liking so the 2€ bottle of tap water is just right. The tagliatelle taste alright but we found fish bones in it. Might want to consider to improve on the food quality and pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're in Bologna and looking for a delicious, authentic experience, get a reservation here!!! Very simple menu (a total of 6-8 items on hand written paper in the window) but every one executed with care and LOTS of flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. If you want to taste some authentic Italian food you must try the crescentine bolognese. Basically some hot small fried pastry with ricotta cream and various thin sliced meats, but fulfilling and very good. Usually the place is crowded and you will need to make a reservation.
The hole atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a cozy family place to eat at with the locals.
And the music... unexpectedly good one.
