Ca 'Foscari Zattere, or CFZ, is one of the most beautiful libraries in all of Venice, with a modern style of wood and crystal. It is accessible both to Ca 'Foscari students and to students or external subjects. Advisable and very well organized even in this pandemic period: seats are limited, to access you must book through the Affluences website; in the tables there are dispensers of alcohol and wipes for the surfaces; the bathrooms are clean.

Biblioteca stupenda, è sempre tranquilla e non c'è molto afflusso, le postazioni sono ben illuminate e spaziose. Unica pecca l'assenza di un bar e un posto dove mangiare.
Gorgeous library, it's always quiet and there's not a lot of crowds, the stations are well lit and spacious. The only flaw is the absence of a bar and a place to eat.

The library is very big. It belongs to the University Ca' Foscari but everyone can use or visit it. It has a bar, computers and sofas. It has a huge number of books. There is a room where you are allowed to talk, in the rest of the library you have to stay silent. In the upper floor you can charge your phone at every table. It's always very hot, especially during the summer and especially in the upper floor. It has Wi-Fi but it is very slow during the day but in the evening is faster due to the smaller amount of people. It opens at 9 am and closes at 12 pm.

A magnificent fusion of modernity and tradition. A library that is simultaneously cozy and cold, a great example in the architectural sense. If you wish to visit, you need to leave your ID and fill out a form.

Great facilities! Good institutional intent. Unfortunately, as I approached the front desk on Sunday last week while passing by on the way to another meeting in the area. I wanted to take a quick look at the workshop capacities for my company and the elderly front desk agent was truly limited in his ability to ascertain the difference between a 'tourist', that some locals clearly resent, to folks with business partnership intent. If Venice is to charge an entry tax of 5 euros soon. It should consider these service areas. Venywhere for example should step in to provide better training here. Which Ca' Foscari is a core member of. The younger gentlemen who spoke English was put down and put to shame. As i run a digital think do tank, I would have expected better camaraderie between staff members. Instead I saw a clear lack of training in engaging with the professional caucas, biases towards non-students and non-italian speakers presented with extreme confidence...also, sadly for the younger gent, his colleague who was ready to offer me just a quick walk-through to assess the usability of the open work spaces...was held back rather rudely. I felt bad for him being once young, and like him eager to engage with opportunities. I will re-approach using the so called cultural 'free flow' zone again in a formal format. However, Venice institutional service providers need to do a better job in differentiating between wandering tourists and partnership seeking folks who just want to scratch another workshop location of their lists. Information board should be updated accordingly. Also, some feedback mentioned by other business owners visiting, on the use of 'Postcolonial' English classes...is out of touch and to some distasteful.
