β β β β β Personell at the security check does not know the rules for hand luggage. I took my life vest (I am a sailing instructor so i take my life vest on planes all the time) in my hand luggage and they made me check it in even though they were unable to show me a rule saying that a life vest is a dangerous good ??

β β β β β Unfortunately one of the worst airport you can get to.
This is partially run by the region FVG.
There are no flights and the staff is just bored of doing nothing.
Better to travel to/from Venice β¦β¦ better airport and completely different experience

β β β β β My favourite Italian airport very efficient and Ryanair do a fabulous job in and out of there. Just so UK travellers know they will ask you for vaccination certificate, Plf AND a negative covid test!! So notwithstanding being vaccinated were back to the old days of negative tests all the time. Such a bore....
