β β β β β They charge you a service fee if you buy tickets from them. It is better to purchase your ticket from the machines outside their office, you don't have to pay service fee.

β β β β β Don't buy the card near by the station. The ticket officers(not one person)said it's free for luggage and traffic. But it was lie. They said near by the ticket offices' shop was free to store luggage but it wasn't. So we bring that shop's manager and we talk together. Because that shop manager said it's not free. And now the ticket officer told us she didn't said like that and also we didn't understand English. I am upper intermediate! I understand all!! It was all lie..

β β β β β Very bad experience. We purchased tickets for us and the kids to travel to Venice from Mestre station. We were in a bit of a hurry to get on the train and were not aware we needed to validate the ticket. The language on the machine was in Italian so we probably missed that warning. On the train the conductor told us we should have validated. We apologized of course and than he gave us a fine of a 120 euro ( the tickets were 1.35 euro each). We were completely surprised he did not just give us a warning. We had the tickets a (see picture) and were simply unaware (honest mistake). We asked him to take out tickets so we could not use them again and solve it that way but the guy clearly was out for some tourist bashing. 120 euro for 4 non validated but bought tickets is pure theft! Have some compassion!!!

β β β β β Very bad experience, the man in the office is very rude. I bought a ticket to the wrong time and wanted to refund it, at the customer service they told me itβs possible they will just charge me 20% fee. But the man said no, and leave this place. Extremely rude!
