★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Andati con the fork, ottimo cibo,personale molto gentile...ho apprezzato tantissimo i ravioli di zucca con la salsiccia,spettacolari e il budino di zucca..un menù lavoro più un primo, un dolce due caffè e un acqua e vino 39 euro!!! Da provare anche se l'esterno non invita a entrare ma il cibo è molto buono ?
Went with the fork, great food, very kind staff ... I really enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli with sausage, spectacular and the pumpkin pudding ... a working menu plus a first course, a dessert, two coffees and a water and wine 39 EUR!!! Try it even if the outside is not inviting but the food is very good ?

Come piace a noi: casalinga e curata.
Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene in compagnia di cari amici (ed anche loro sono ottimi intenditori del buon cibo fatto con ingredienti buoni).
Consiglio vivamente i ravioli di zucca e guanciale di maiale con cipolla, uvetta e pinoli.
Per i dolci .... uhmmm ... lo zabaione merita, mentre il tiramisù è da aggiustare un pò. Idem lo zampone: era più un salame cotyo che zampine, ma molto, molto buono!!
Personale gentile. Locale e posate pulite. Cuoco molto amabile e competente.
Merita!!!

As we like it: homely and well-kept.
We ate really well in the company of dear friends (and they too are excellent connoisseurs of good food made with good ingredients).
I highly recommend the pumpkin ravioli and pork cheek with onion, raisins and pine nuts.
For the desserts .... uhmmm ... the zabaglione deserves it, while the tiramisu needs to be fixed a little. Ditto the zampone: it was more a cotyo salami than zampine, but very, very good !!
Friendly staff. Clean room and cutlery. Very lovable and competent cook.
It deserves !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima trattoria con piatti della tradizione mantovana. Accoglienza cordiale e competente, buona la carta dei vini. Da non perdere i delicatissimi gnocchi fritti e le lumache con la polenta.
Excellent restaurant with traditional Mantuan dishes. Friendly and competent welcome, good wine list. Do not miss the delicate fried gnocchi and snails with polenta.

Un ambiente di altri tempi, semplice, essenziale, pulito ed accogliente con personale cortese.
Con pochi clienti presenti si è rivelato un bel posto per riuscire finalmente anche a parlare con chi siede a tavola con te..
Sulla cucina poco da dire, piatti ben fatti, gustosi e generosi. Top il tiramisù.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giornata di Pasquetta, ci fermiamo a pranzo, senza conoscere il posto: sarà una graditissima sorpresa!!! Partiamo con gli agnolotti uno al burro ed uno panna prosciutto, gustosissimi. Ho chiesto lumi sul saporito ripieno ed ho scoperto che è tutto maiale: lonza, pancetta salsiccia e grana. Molto buoni e dose industriale, direi per due. A seguire ho preso una terrina di polenta con gorgonzola e lardo di colonnata, e Laura ha voluto provare il risotto alla pilota con un assaggio di fondi di carciofi. Ancora una volta dosi industriali ma tutto molto buono. Bevuto Lambrusco Mantovano e, ribadisco, mangiato molto bene. Torneremo!

I asked for light on the tasty filling and I discovered that it is all pork: loin, bacon, sausage and parmesan. Very good and industrial dose, I would say for two. Then I took a terrine of polenta with gorgonzola and lard from colonnata, and Laura wanted to try the risotto alla pilot with a taste of artichoke bottoms. Once again industrial doses but all very good. Drank Lambrusco Mantovano and, I repeat, ate very well. We'll be back!
