The food was beautifully presented. But more importantly the flavours were surperb. The staff were a delight, despite being very busy, they took time to explained and recommend dushes off the menu that suited each of us. Just sorry we are moving to a new location tomorrow and can not dine here again tomorrow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and quite trendy place. Service is kind and attentive. I went there for lunch a few times and atmosphere is very relaxed. I am not sure about dinner. I much prefer this to all the flashy touristy restaurants in the main squares. There are some big tables where you need to share with others and also some smaller tables, so when booking specify in which you would like to sit. It’s in a small alleyway so you will needs maps to find it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bread was several days old, the caponata was OK but nothing great, the lamb chops were bland. The ravioli was fine.
Service was slow and indifferent to the point of coldness.
Prices were high. Not recommended.
I suppose people like this place because the interior has a modern, trendy appearance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant. The design and interiors are modern but feel like they fit perfectly with the surrounding old center of Mantova. The menu has many local dishes that are slightly updated with a twist. Staff and wine selection are good and the price was perfectly in line with the offer. Highly recommended when in Mantova.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In La Cucina I had a delicious steak with a spicy honey-mustard sauce and julienne-sliced vegetables. The prices are a bit higher but the food is worth it. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed on the inside, and the outdoor terrace is great as well. The furniture is personalised for the place, only a pity that for such a large restaurant there’s only one bathroom.
