the waiter was nice and supportive as we asked to stay outside and then inside
the food was very good - above average - thus also the price was ok
One star less because of the toilet, was clean but in a very bad shape even for a standard restaurant - no toilet seats available!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner here was pretty good. Solid place, good steak and local risotto dish with interesting local entrees to start. Good yet inexpensive wine list. Learn as we did and ask your hotel to book a table for you in advance when visiting Mantova we tried walking in to 5-6 places before we found this one that had a table free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely late (Italian) lunch at this restaurant. It was a bit away of the touristic spots but so much worth it. The food was DELICIOUS. The wine was very good and above all, the service was great. They were very friendly and sweet, made good recommendations - took care of allergies et cetera. Highly recommend this place if you want to go somewhere where the food and service is good, and you’re not in the middle of a touristic busy square where you are stared away because they want your table to be free for the next people. It was perfect!
