★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il locale ci è stato consigliato dai ragazzi del Pamela Beach di San Nicola Arcella dicendo che era un ristorante con vista mare e buon cibo.
La vista mare era completamente assente.
Abbiamo ordinato (vedere scontrino sotto) tre porzioni di fritto misto e 3 contorni. Come contorno, abbiamo scelto le verdure grigliate (6 fettine di numero di melanzane per 6 euro) ed una ciotolina di peperoni cruschi. I fritti ce li hanno portati in un cono stile take away in porzioni scarse (18 euro l'uno) senza nemmeno la consueta salviettina al limone. Oltretutto il pane ce lo hanno portato quando ormai eravamo a fine cena.
Ci hanno presentato un conto di 100 euro (e da bere abbiamo preso 2 birre, 4 acque e 3 caffé).
Siamo rimasti molto delusi perché la qualità era nella media quindi anche questo non giustificava la spesa.
 The place was recommended to us by the guys from Pamela Beach in San Nicola Arcella saying that it was a restaurant with a sea view and good food.
The sea view was completely absent.
We ordered (see receipt below) three portions of mixed fried fish and 3 side dishes. As a side dish, we chose grilled vegetables (6 slices of eggplant number for 6 euros) and a small bowl of cruschi peppers. They brought them to us in a take away-style cone in scarce portions (18 euros each) without even the usual lemon wipe. Besides, the bread was brought to us when we were already at the end of dinner.
They presented us with a bill of 100 euros (and we had 2 beers, 4 waters and 3 coffees to drink).
We were very disappointed as the quality was average so even this didn't justify the expense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo andati a cena ieri sera 10/08 verso le ore 20 con amici, abbiamo preso il fritto misto. Quantità scarsa per una persona e prezzo caro(18€) , frittura di soli totani e 2 gamberoni e 4 alici. Nessuna salviettina al limone, presentazione in stile take away (dentro ad un cono di cartoccio appoggiato su un piatto) . Abbiamo preso come contorno delle verdure grigliate(6€) e sono arrivate 6 e dico 6 fettine di melanzana grigliata.
Il pane è arrivato quando ormai eravamo a fine cena(già ordinato i caffè, tempismo perfetto direi) . Ne ho mangiate meglio di fritture in Liguria (totani, polipetti, alici ,gamberoni e verdurine il tutto fresco, pesce arrivato al mattino, a 7,50€ )e ad un prezzo pari a meno della metà! E parlo della Liguria, regione “cara” per eccellenza.
Siamo rimasti molto delusi , posto delizioso ma qualità bassa rispetto alla location. Buono il piatto offerto dalla casa , forse più buono del fritto misto. Buone le birre. Ma ciò non giustificava la spesa..
We went to dinner last night 10/08 around 8 pm with friends, we had the mixed fry. Low quantity for one person and expensive price (18 €), fried only squid and 2 prawns and 4 anchovies. No lemon wipe, take away style presentation (inside a cone of foil placed on a plate). We took grilled vegetables as a side dish (6 €) and 6 and I mean 6 slices of grilled aubergine arrived.
The bread arrived when we were at the end of dinner (already ordered the coffees, I would say perfect timing). I have eaten them better than fried in Liguria (squid, octopus, anchovies, prawns and vegetables all fresh, fish arrived in the morning, at € 7.50) and at a price equal to less than half! And I'm talking about Liguria, the “dear” region par excellence.
We were very disappointed, lovely place but low quality compared to the location. The dish offered by the house is good, perhaps better than the mixed fry. Good beers. But that didn't justify the expense ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo cenato qui un sabato sera di settembre, nonostante alcune recensioni negative del mese di agosto che ci avevano spaventato. È andato tutto bene, buona la cucina e fantastica la location. Da provare.
We dined here on a Saturday evening in September, despite some negative August reviews that scared us. Everything went well, the food was good and the location was fantastic. To try.

Dopo aver ordinato dei ravioli a base di pesce ed esserci raccomandati che tra gli ingredienti non vi fossero latticini e suoi derivati in quanto tra i commensali vi era una persona con forti intolleranze alimentari, dopo ben 40 minuti di attesa, arrivano i ravioli con dentro la ricotta e di pesce sapevano ben poco. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni il cameriere con aria scocciata ci ha comunicato che i ravioli vengono fatti così, allontanandosi dal tavolo senza fornire alcun altra spiegazione. Alla cassa il titolare del locale, alle nostre rimostranze si è giustificato dicendo che ci eravamo capiti male con il cameriere. Morale, dopo aver perso 3 ore per mangiare cose non richieste ci è toccato pagare un conto sicuramente non in linea con i prodotti offerti. Evidentemente la circostanza di non essere clienti abituali in quanto di passaggio in questa località turistica, permette loro di poter avere questo tipo di atteggiamento, sicuramente poco professionale. Sconsiglio
Very negative experience, incompetent staff. After ordering fish-based ravioli and being recommended that among the ingredients there were no dairy products and its derivatives as among the diners there was a person with strong food intolerances, after 40 minutes of waiting, the ravioli arrive with the ricotta and fish they knew very little. At our request for explanations, the waiter with an annoyed air informed us that the ravioli are made like this, leaving the table without providing any other explanation. At the checkout, the owner of the restaurant justified his complaints by saying that we had understood each other badly with the waiter. Moral, after having lost 3 hours to eat unsolicited things, we had to pay a bill that was definitely not in line with the products offered. Obviously, the circumstance of not being regular customers as they are passing through this tourist resort, allows them to have this type of attitude, certainly unprofessional. I do not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo tornati in questo delizioso locale è stata una bella sorpresa: locale completamente rinnovato sia nella location moderna e curata con ampi terrazzi con vista sui tetti di San Nicola e menù ricco. Abbiamo degustato un ottimo vino biologico con due antipasti della guardia abbondanti con pesce freschissimo. A seguire un gran fritto e la grigliata di pesce ottimo ed abbondante. A conclusione abbiamo assaggiato il cannolo scomposto e un tartufo con un ottimo amaro calabrese. Che dire una certezza sulla qualità del cibo ci torneremo sicuramente!
We returned to this delightful place and it was a nice surprise: completely renovated in both the modern and well-kept location with large terraces overlooking the roofs of San Nicola and a rich menu. We tasted an excellent organic wine with two abundant guard starters with very fresh fish. Followed by a large fried fish and excellent and abundant grilled fish. At the end we tasted the decomposed cannolo and a truffle with an excellent Calabrian amaro. What about a certainty about the quality of the food we will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quest'anno da quasi 5⭐..... spero riesca a mantenere lo stesso livello anche l'anno prossimo. Incantevole la cena sul terrazzino... magari uno/due tavoli in meno renderebbe l'atmosfera un po più piacevole. Ottimo l'antipasto di mare e la grigliata. Tra la seconda sera e la prima posso solo notare la fuga di un gamberone dalla grigliata.. un gamberone in meno rispetto alla volta precedente si nota e spero si sia trattato di un errore. Il cliente si aspetta sempre lo stesso trattamento... la coerenza rende solido un ristorante nel tempo.
This year for almost 5⭐ ..... I hope he will be able to maintain the same level next year too. Lovely dinner on the terrace ... maybe one / two tables less would make the atmosphere a little more pleasant. Excellent seafood appetizer and grilled. Between the second evening and the first I can only notice the escape of a prawn from the grill .. one less prawn than the previous time you notice and I hope it was a mistake. The customer always expects the same treatment ... consistency makes a restaurant solid over time.
