★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono rientrato in questa pizzeria dopo moltissimi anni, la saletta esterna è molto accogliente, come del resto tutto il personale, l'atmosfera ti fa sentire subito bene.
Il problema inizia con la consultazione dei menù, la proposta delle pizze ti riporta subito agli anni '90, è chiaro che non è stato rinnovato da allora.
Prendiamo tre pizze è un antipasto "Italia" quando quest'ultimo è servito viene il dubbio che anche l'olio della frittura è lì dagli anni' 90.
Le pizze erano la tipica via di mezzo tra la napoletana e la tonda romana, ne scioglievole ne croccante, a occhio direi massimo 55 percento di idratante, farina debole, 6-8 ore di lievitazione... Pizze del genere si possono assaggiare in tutta Italia, c''è a chi piace, a me no, in ogni caso niente di speciale.
Il prezzo è onestissimo e anche le attenzioni alle norme ANTICOVID sono state ben rispettate.
Insomma, se dovessi dire che è stata una delusione sarei eccessivo, ma sicuramente non ci ritornerò.
Certo che con un locale posizionato così bene si potrebbe fare molto, molto di più.
 I returned to this pizzeria after many years, the outside room is very welcoming, like all the staff, the atmosphere makes you feel immediately good.
The problem starts with the consultation of the menus, the pizza proposal immediately takes you back to the 90s, it is clear that it has not been renewed since then.
We take three pizzas is an "Italy" appetizer when the latter is served there is a doubt that even the frying oil has been there since the 90s.
The pizzas were the typical middle ground between the Neapolitan and the Roman round, neither melt nor crunchy, to the eye I would say a maximum of 55 percent moisturizer, weak flour, 6-8 hours of leavening ... Italy, there are those who like it, I don't, in any case nothing special.
The price is very honest and also the attention to the ANTICOVID rules have been well respected.
In short, if I were to say that it was a disappointment I would be excessive, but I will certainly not return.
Of course, with such a well-positioned venue, much, much more could be done.

Personale stupendo formato in prevalenza dai figli molto affabili e premirosi nei riguardi del cliente. Ottime pietanza e pizze di tutti i gusti. Prezzi nella norma in considerazione che ci troviamo in un meraviglioso posto di villeggiatura. San Nicola Arcella ha conquistato la bandiera blu a giusta ragione ed il mare è stupendo. Lo consiglio a tutti. Provare per credere.
Ancient restaurant and pizzeria in San Nicola Arcella. I have known her for 36 years, always very famous. Wonderful staff formed mainly by very affable and considerate children towards the customer. Excellent dishes and pizzas of all tastes. Prices in the standard considering that we are in a wonderful holiday resort. San Nicola Arcella has won the blue flag with good reason and the sea is gorgeous. I recommend it to everybody. Seeing is believing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'incontro è, a mio avviso, un'ottima pizzeria. È proprio nel centro di San Nicola Arcella, un paesino molto carino tra Praia a Mare e Scalea. Ci torno tutti gli anni che vengo in villeggiatura in zona perché la pizza non mi delude mai. C'è un cortiletto interno molto carino, il personale non si perde in chiacchiere ed è veloce. Consigliatissima per chi ama la pizza napoletana.
The meeting is, in my opinion, an excellent pizzeria. It is right in the center of San Nicola Arcella, a very nice village between Praia a Mare and Scalea. I go back every year I come to the area on holiday because pizza never disappoints me. There is a very nice inner courtyard, the staff does not get lost in chatter and is fast. Highly recommended for those who love Neapolitan pizza.
