★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We picked this restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, I can’t give more than 2 stars. It’s a nice cozy place , but it took us around 10 minutes to be seated. Menu didn’t arrive until we asked. Another 45 minutes passed before food arrived. The food wasn’t bad , but nothing special, very basic. The whole family was left irritated. And now we’re waiting for our bill to come what gave me a hint that I should write a review..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys know how to make an authentication Italian "home cooked" food. Pasta with pork seemed to have only 3 ingredients yet it was perfectly balanced and colourful. "Foil-baked" pasta had an intense taste of black olives with and some delightful local spices. House white wine was surprisingly fresh. Service was all in all friendly and supportive, nevertheless the two stars had to be deducted because we were waiting 45 minutes (!!) to get our check and pay with a card. And at that time the restaurant was not even full any more. I had to chase down the one waitress and I was still being actively ignored. That's just not nice and ruined a bit the overall impression. P.S. Also rather skip the Biancomangiare desert.

The owner makes you feel very welcome and is happy to help explain the various dishes if you’re not familiar with the local cuisine. We loved it here so much that we came back the next evening. It was by far our favourite restaurant during our 10 days in Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely trattoria in the heart of Ragusa’s oldtown! Staff is awesome, as is the ambience in the room! They offer a great variety of starters like Parmigiana, primi and secondi. The different pasta types are all very authentic and super delicious!
Best part about this trattoria: The prices! There are not many places in Italy where you eat this good and cheap! Awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful intimate restaurant that reflects true Sicilian cuisine. The food in incredible and bursting with flavor. The staff is attentive, welcoming and professional. We took their recommendations on our meal and everything was perfect. The food is freshly prepared and authentic. The daily specials were varied and exceptional. Meal was very inexpensive especially based on the quality. It was a pure pleasure. Highly recommend!
