The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. This restaurant is a little outside the heavy tourist area, and may be more popular with locals, and that’s a good thing. It deserves 5 stars.
After a long day trip, settling in to a dinner that included a Bruschetta medley, great pastas and a second course of sausage and potatoes, was a fulfilling experience.
Our servers were very kind to our family and delivered great service. They communicated in English and Spanish which was helpful. A special mention to Samantha who made sure we were taken care of. Thank you for a great dining experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was basically right beside our hotel, so we gave it a shot at the end of a long day and were very happy with the choice. There were rough English translations on the menu, and the waitress spoke enough English that we could communicate with her, but it felt much more like a place where locals would come to enjoy a meal. Portions and pricing were reasonable, the house wine was great, and it was a great experience overall. We had the wild boar sauce pasta, truffle cream pasta, and then split an osso bucco with beans, which were all excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple food at its finest. We first come across this via google and decided to give it a try after discovering that there is 30% off ala carte menu.
Discounts always give you some doubt whether the food is truly good or not. As how food prices affects expectations, with a discount we tend to be more lenient and less critical - it is worth giving it a go.
We had two meals here and twice we were given a welcome champagne. The pace of the service was excellent and we did not felt rushed at all. Food arrives piping hot if the dish demands it - and it hits you in all senses from visual presentation, smell, taste, and texture.
While at the first visit the asparagus were overcooked, they were quick to admit and had it redone with no fuss - considering there was only one chef visible; he was a hero in getting every dish out.
In the end of the meal, we both got a free limoncello to finish with a bitter sweet note to balance the sweet dessert. Perfect ending to a night in Florence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasty food, amazing quick and kind service (the waitress is very cheerful and welcoming). They have some of the most must-try Florentine specialities and for affordable prices. However, may be I would just recommend to save the Florentine steak for a more specialized trattoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty food! The ravioli in truffle cream sauce, the pork in delicious jus with potatoes, and the chestnut pudding were all excellent flavors. A great find on the side streets near the main train station.
