C	Chris Sharp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We discovered this charming place whilst exploring Assergi. The owner was perplexed that we only ordered antipasti each and couldn't think how that would be enough for us - but the portions were generous and very tasty, and excellent value.

Before we had finished, another dish arrived that was very unappetizing. Another dish arrived - not once were we offered the menu. We refused anymore food and were given a 30 euro bill - expensive for 3 starters, water and a wine. This seems to be the owners approach to "foreigners" as we heard others had the same experience. I wouldn't recommend this place for this practice. When we questioned the bill he showed us some scribbled menu, not the one we had seen given to the locals.

Franchino prepared different starters for the kids. We then had tagliolini with saffron, truffle and mushrooms. Arrosticini to follow. Fruit as dessert. All for EUR 15. Outstanding value for money. The quality of the food is also good. Highly recommended.

Don't think we've ever seen the kids eat their pasta and arrosticini so fast and talked about for days about how good it was. Highly recommend!

Here I ate the best broccoli ever. Very tasty "tagliata" and "arrosticini" specific Abruzzo, tasty pasta and big plates for appetizer with cooked vegetables and meat. The "trattoria" it's full most of the time. You should call first to book a table.
