Hanno un menù molto vario, la cucina è casereccia e le porzioni sono molto abbondanti. Puntano molto sui prodotti locali. Il locale si trova in centro a Viterbo in una location molto accogliente. D'estate si mangia all'aperto ed è tutto abbastanza curato. Il proprietario è molto gentile e segue personalmente tutti i tavoli per assicurarsi che sia tutto di gradimento. I prezzi sono medio bassi per quello che offrono. Solo due piccole cose dovrebbero rivedere. Abbiamo ordinato per dolce delle coppe gelato, era gelato di ottima qualità ma di una marca industriale. Visto che usano praticamente solo prodotti locali potrebbero rifornirsi ad una gelateria artigianale locale visto che in zona ce ne sono di ottime. Poi abbiamo chiesto del Ketchup ma non ne avevano perché dopo la chiusura per il lockdown ci hanno detto di non averne preso più. Cmq. sono due piccoli dettagli perché per il resto era tutto perfetto. Anche il vino della casa era ottimo e a fine pasto se la bottiglia non è stata finita addebitano solo il costo del bevuto. Molto consigliato. I went there for the first time yesterday although it has been open for years. It was a pleasant discovery. They have a very varied menu, the cuisine is homemade and the portions are very generous. They rely heavily on local products. The restaurant is located in the center of Viterbo in a very welcoming location. In the summer, you can eat outside and everything is quite well-kept. The owner is very nice and personally follows all the tables to make sure everything is to your liking. Prices are medium to low for what they offer. Only two little things should review. We ordered ice cream sundaes for dessert, it was very good quality ice cream but of an industrial brand. Since they use practically only local products, they could get supplies from a local artisan ice cream parlor as there are excellent ones in the area. Then we asked for Ketchup but they didn't have any because after closing due to the lockdown they told us they didn't take any more. Cmq. these are two small details because otherwise everything was perfect. The house wine was also excellent and at the end of the meal, if the bottle was not finished, they only charge the cost of the drink. Highly recommended.

È possibile visitare la cantina del 1200 location cinematografica riconoscibilissima. Consigliata Hosteria in the historic center of Viterbo. A stone's throw from Piazza San Pellegrino. Atmosfera accogliente e caratteristica. Bruno, il gestore, simpatico e accattivante. Dinamiche e cordiali ragazze a servire. Scelta dei piatti, ampia e variegata, molto legata alla cultura casereccia locale. Ho dimenticato le foto dei primi, ma assolutamente indimenticabili: lombrichi e scialatielli. Una sosta gradita per un pranzo valido sotto ogni aspetto, anche nel prezzo. Consiglio di visitare le antichissime, grandi cantine scavate nel sottosuolo. I forgot the photos of the first, but absolutely unforgettable: earthworms and scialatielli. A welcome stop for a lunch that is valid in every respect, even in the price. I recommend visiting the very ancient, large cellars dug underground.

Cibo ottimo, servizio preciso e veloce, vino della casa un po' da migliorare. Da provare assolutamente sono la carbonara e la polenta con costina e salsiccia. Peccato per il caffè servito nei bicchieri di plastica. Osteria in the historic center of Viterbo. Sor Bruno's hospitality is truly special. Autentica e casereccia con sprazzi ricercati...l' antipasto su tre taglieri é spettacolare..cosí come le carni ed i dolci.. Il posto è rustico e si respira la tipica aria “viterbese”. Ci siamo presi due antipasti del Sor Bruno (c’è di tutto e tutto è riconducibile alla cucina tipica del posto) un primo piatto a testa, dolce, amaro e caffè. Siamo usciti sazi e soddisfatti. Consiglio vivamente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Osteria located in the historic center of Viterbo, ideal for dining with friends or for eating there with the family. The place is rustic and you can breathe the typical "Viterbo" air. We took two starters from Sor Bruno (there is everything and everything can be traced back to the typical local cuisine), a first course each, sweet, bitter and coffee. We left full and satisfied.
