★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lucky to be recommended some off the menu items. Happened to be one of the first guests of the day. I am a very host's recommendation honoring person and upon asking what they recommend, they offer thus black truffle pasta with shrimp as main dish. i jumped into the chance and did not regret. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing little restaurant, hidden outside the center of the touristy area. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing and the wine suggestion spot on. I had the most amazing beef tartar and wish I'd gone for the Gnocchi special (which I didn't because my wife beat me to it). My 11 year old daughter had the mussel soup and loved it. If you go, you won't regret it. Also got a tip for the best gelato in town (Fresco) as we left, and that was also spot on.

This restaurant is just off the central tourist area, and doesn’t have a smiling Italian trying to persuade every passer-by into the establishment like so many others in this old town area. The decor is nice but simple, with cookery books on the bookshelves and a wine cellar overflow area downstairs. We ate three courses of creative, beautifully cooked food plus a bottle of wine for Euro70. As a couple who have a chef for a son, we can recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First meal in Italy and it is amazing. Lovely service and food, good value for price. Mr Salvatore was very friendly and welcoming, explained every part of the menu - good selection of specials of the day! Absolutely recommend if you’re stopping at Sorrento!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the gnocchi alla Sorrentina and the pasta with clams. Both were pretty good. If I had to pick one, I'd do the gnocchi. Also had the lemon cake which was quite good.
