★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had no New Years plans and stumbled upon Frankie’s place. It was the best decision we could have made! Not only was the food the best we have had in Italy but it was also an amazing deal and incredible experience. Frankie and Daria really made us feel like family and made our New Years one that we will never forget. Frankie is the absolute best host and Daria is the real genius in the kitchen. Her food will blow you away! Her famous dough is out of this world and Frankie’s wine from his personal vineyard is a must try! We can not recommend Frankie’s Bar enough and will be coming back to Sorrento solely to eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and fresh neapolitan pizza. Kind staff and good location. Would recommend it everyone to visit, if you are hungry. They also got a wide variety of craft beer and normal sorts of beer. Wine is tasty also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So the pizza is pretty good (not quite like in Naples) but tasty. It is well priced and you get a lovely level of service with Frankie giving us lots of fun information about the bar and it's creations. Ice and fire was a favourite.
For me the real negative was how the night ended. Card in hand and ready to pay the bill away from the table, we were offered some limoncello (2 shots) as it had come up in conversation about local food etc.
30 seconds later it had been added to the bill for a whopping 7 euros. More than 20% of the bill!
I'm not sure this is the style of service I was experiencing throughout the meal. In pretty much any other restaurant offering something like this as you walk out the door it's a good will gesture, often for nicety or to gain repeat custom. On a different day I would rate a 3 just for this uncomfortable taste at the end of it all despite nice pizza.
Total bill 34 euro, 2 soft drinks, 2 pizzas and 2 shots of limoncello.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this place during our holiday in Sorrento, we went there for like 5 or 6 times in total. Really good pizza, very friendly people and reasonable prices. Our favorites are Frankie's Bar pizza and Ice & Fire pizza with some spicy ndjua meat. The meatball in tomato sauce is also very good. Thanks and hope to come back someday in future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent pizza! I got the "A Mamma" with stuffed crust and it was absolutely scrumptious. The pizzas are freshly made and the taste is top notch. There is an outdoor eating area but also an option to eat upstairs and there is a nice clean bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came on a trip from with my friends to Sorrento and was recommended Frankie’s. Amazing atmosphere and incredible pizza. Aside from the food, Frankie is a stand up dude who truly cares about his customers. Along with that you truly get a family pizzeria vibe. He’s got an amazing son who greets you at the door and the best chef in Sorrento with his wife. He accommodated to all our needs and kept the bar open late because we were having such a great time. Not only should you stop into Frankie’s if in the Sorrento area, but also travel just to catch a bite at the best hidden gem around. 10000/10.
