The food is sensational, the atmosphere outstanding and our hosts made it the most unforgettable night. Thank you for being so kind and generous

The one star here is strictly for the Octopus appetizer only, it was incredible. It’s unfortunate that our horrible service ended our dining experience after that. The restaurant was very empty when we arrived and we were seated and immediately felt hustled by the wait staff. It wasn’t but 3 seconds after we were handed a menu we were asked what we wanted to order. We said we needed a moment and no more than 60 seconds later the server was back to ask again if we were ready. We asked to start with a bottle of wine & octopus before deciding on menu items, and the server brought us out two of the most expensive red wines to suggest. We asked for other options of reds, more reasonable and he suggested a Rose. Which isn’t at all what we wanted. We overall felt the staff was trying to make a sale over trying to give us the best experience. Once we got our octopus and ate it we asked for the check. At this point the server was begging for us to stay but it was too late - he had already ruined the experience for us and no longer wanted to give them our time and service. Upon leaving we were also harassed by an Italian “Karen” who asked us where we were from, as if that mattered - laughed at us and nodded us along. Very unfortunate because we were recommended this place but we will not be back.

We got the sampler for 2 of all meal courses. Food was outstanding and perfect portions. We were sat next to a table that got extra special attention older crowd but the waitstaff was referring to the woman as Ms. Sofia. Looked like and old Sophia Lauren and company, can’t confirm but pretty cool she hangs here on the down low… I will definitely come back amazing evening and good value for the money…..

If you are visiting Sorrento in Italy this restaurant is a must visit !!!!!!is a tribute to Sophia Loren the food was amazing their hospitality, the warm of their employees Mario was a great host make us feel at home !! If you are In for the best Tiramisu and the best pasta fish salads and wine this is the best ambiance and beautiful place in town. This is a must Restorante in Sorrento !!

Pick a dish that has no frozen fish experience the one from the area is perfect! It’s a nice interior good wine and very beautiful dishes are served. Great kitchen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sorrento. Most restaurants in the US could learn a great deal from how proper service is given by visiting Italy...

I ordered their tuna with artichoke its just blew my mind away ? The restaurant is so crowded and a little noisy if you want to have a relaxing conversation (try to avoid high peak dinner hour)
