As the name implies, this place has an authentic feel of a typical family run Italian restaurant. And, it lives up to it too. Wholesome and hearty meals, served by genuinely warm people in a rustic environment. They boast an aim to provide food, fresh and locally sourced and both the menu and wine list do actually reflect this. We have a fab meal and a lovely time. Thank you.

Had one of the best meals on our northern Italy trip! The owner, Rebecca, is simply wonderful! The food was exceptional and the pricing is very fair. She took time with us at the end of our meal to give us some travel tip's for our next adventure to Italy. It will for sure include a stop back here for dinner!!!

Excellent restaurant, family-owned, very friendly staff and family. Excellent Italian food, changing daily offers. Our first choice during our holiday in Malcesine. Reservation recommended. Nothing more to say. Just go and try yourself.

There’s certainly no nonna in this kitchen.. the food was pretty poor. The gnocchi was cold at the bottom of the dish and swimming in a lukewarm lake of cheese. The ravioli was the best dish on the menu. The tagliata was fine - cooked still rare but no real flavour to the meat. Most surprising was that the mains were served with potatoes that felt like they’d come from the freezer and limp green beans. If you’re a lover of Italian food (think Piedmont or Tuscany) then don’t bother eating here.

Nice and cosy trattoria. Small menue, good wine, good pasta. Perfect!
