β β β β β Average good served by disinterested waiter doing his best to eke out a modicum of politeness after a stressful season.
Probably one of the best options in awfully touristy Malcesine, but you might be better off taking the boat and eating out someplace else.

β β β β β I stopped for lunch and I was so please by the welcoming and the delicious homemade pasta served by the friendly owner. I booked a table to celebrate my birthday in the evening. Lovely lake view, lovely staff, great wine selection and a great menu. I had seafood and again the homemade pasta as suggested by the staff. Definitely not to be missed while wondering I the beautiful and picturesque village.

β β β β β We were lucky enough to be sat at the front of the restaurant. Really nice staff and a stunning location. I wasn't blown away by the food but it is good. I highly recommend coming here.

β β β β β Beautiful place with Lago di Garda view. Staff is very attentive and recommends nice options from the house. We've been twice in that place and both food was perfect. Mussels were truly delicious with glass of crispy Italian white wine. Perfetto!

β β β β β Great location if you sit at the front. Staff attentive and friendly. Recommended local rosΓ© wine was excellent. Starter of grilled vegetables with local cheese and pistachio was a bit bland and unseasoned. Main of vegetable ragout pasta was again a bit bland and overcooked. The dessert was a recommended local delicacy, a kind of mille-feuille with berries, and was spectacular, the best thing I've tasted in a long time. Italian brandy and coffee was good, free limoncello digistifs were a nice touch. Great overall, but the vegetarian food was a bit underwhelming.

β β β β β Malcesine isn't the best place for good food on the lake, so it's nice to wholeheartedly commend somewhere. The location is beautiful but the food is the real highpoint. The gnocchi in particular is exceptional.
