Vielleicht kann uns jemand aufklären. Da wir jeden Abend dort gegessen haben, haben wir diesen kleinen Krug erhalten. We really liked it here in 2017. Only the meaning of the man with the ladder we could not find out (lack of language skills). Maybe someone can enlighten us. Since we ate there every evening, we received this little jug.

Für mich ab jetzt eines meiner Lieblings Restaurant am Gardasee. We were there as a group and absolutely loved it. Super nice, friendly and open-minded hostess. Very friendly staff and, above all, great food. From now on, one of my favorite restaurants on Lake Garda for me.

Wer bereits in den Genuss bekommen ist, in der Trattoria „da nonna Pina“ das eine oder andere Mal während des Gardasee-Urlaubs zu essen, wird auch die Atmosphäre, das tolle Essen und die Menschen in der Taverna Agli Scaligeri in Malcesine lieben. Wir zumindest haben das Agli Scaligeri bereits nach dem ersten Abend in unser (lukullisches) Herz geschlossen und werden bei nächster Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen. Auch wenn vielleicht nicht für jeden alles perfekt ist, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu groß und bietet mit je 5 - 7 Gerichten für Antipasti, Primi piatti, Secondi piatti und hausgemachtem Dessert für jeden etwas, der sich abseits der Standard-Menüs auf die italienische Küche einlassen möchte. Selbst wenn man für seinen Geschmack auf der Karte nichts entdeckt, gibt es die Möglichkeit auch einen Essenswunsch zu äußern, dem man - wenn möglich - auch sehr gerne nachkommt. Gehobene Preise, die aber angesichts der Qualität und dem Fokus auf Regionalität in Ordnung sind. Das Ambiente im „Innenhof“, mit freiem Blick gen Himmel, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Gerade an den lauen Sommerabenden - die in Deutschland eher rar sind - ist es toll hier zu sitzen, den Tag ausklingen zu lassen und sich bei einem Gläschen Vino zu unterhalten oder einfach mal den Blick nach oben schweifen und den Gedanken freien Lauf zu lassen. Anyone who has already enjoyed eating in the trattoria "da nonna Pina" one or the other time during their Lake Garda holiday will also love the atmosphere, the great food and the people in the Taverna Agli Scaligeri in Malcesine. At least we loved the Agli Scaligeri after the first evening and will be happy to come back at the next opportunity. Even if everything is not perfect for everyone, we felt very comfortable. The menu is not too big and offers 5 - 7 dishes for antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti and homemade dessert for everyone who wants to get involved in Italian cuisine apart from the standard menus. Even if you do not find anything on the menu for your taste, there is also the possibility of expressing a meal request, which - if possible - you are happy to meet. High prices, but in view of the quality and the focus on regionality, they are okay. The ambience in the "inner courtyard", with an unobstructed view of the sky, invites you to linger. Especially on the mild summer evenings - which are rather rare in Germany - it's great to sit here, end the day and chat with a glass of vino or just look up and let your thoughts run free.
