★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and generally inexpensive place with the overall impression of a local diner. Nevertheless the food was nice. Missing high-end touch, but according to pricing.
We saw many locals dining there, I assume it could be seen as a quality mark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good, wait times can be long as it is sometimes busy. The food is lovely though. But beware, food portions are pretty big. Service charge (that they have no sign of and don't tell you anything about) is €2 per person eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is not chic decorated but the food is very good and affordable! Portions are big, I ordered the set menu but there is no way for one female to finish all the food! Service friendly, house wine is yummy too. Service fee 2€ per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are on a day trip to Venice and are looking for lunch don’t go any further than Trattoria Alle Lance.
Tucked away on a side street really close to the Santa Lucia train station, this is a trattoria catering mostly for the locals. It’s not uncommon to dine among railway workers and shopkeepers. The constant flow of people is a testimony to the freshness and convenience of the food served here.
Service is blazingly fast, courteous and efficient.
I definitely recommend sticking to the day 3 course meal plus sides: 15 EUR per person for a fish based meal or 12 EUR per person for a meat based meal. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in late one night, and I'm glad I did. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. The spaghetti amatriciana, in particular, was absolutely delicious! It was one of my favorite meals of my trip. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value for money. Special menu only costs 15euros and contains a clam spaghetti, mixed fried seafood, and a mixed salad.
We had to catch up the train so we asked to take out the fried seafood and the staff was willing to help wrapping it up.
The garlic olive oil spicy spaghetti is also delicious.
