★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our stay in Trieste we tried quite a few restaurants but the trattoria alla sachhetta was our favorite, so we decided to come back for a second meal. Awesome food and friendly staff. The risotto with mixed seafood is heaven on earth!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic italian place, lots of locals come here. Food is great, especially the spaghetti with mixed seafood / vongole and the octopus with potatoes. Great location next to the waterfront, prices are very fair.

This is a lovely traditional Italian fish restaurant with nice outdoor tables where you can watch the sun set (if partially obscured by Eataly!). The fresh fish and pasta dishes are delicious and the staff very friendly - would definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family run restaurant. The position has huge potential. It's needs a total make over: New ideas, new recipes. I ordered the mixed cold fish starter at 13 euros(they have not seen what other restaurants are offering like Da Angelina, copy them if you can!) the plate had a terrible selection of fish, very poor in taste unfortunately. As of first course I had: spaghetti with Canestrelli, and again it was not promising one again. Try going to AL SALVAGENTE and see the difference. This negative review must create a reaction to try and improve. I'm terribly sorry!
I will come again if you improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food at a decent price, and very friendly staff. Communication in English wasn't easy, but we had fun using Google Translate to get our best Italian out (which the owner found quite amusing). When all the tables outside were full, it was no problem for them to put another one out.
