Just around the corner from The Square Hotel, Duomo. Lovely helpful staff (their english is obviously better than my italian), in Milan for two days, called there twice. Good place for people watching. Didn't eat here but staff are more than happy to serve you drinks only. NB. Very (very) good wines available is desired.

Beyond rude customer service. We made an inquiry over phone about a wine tasting for 8 people and were promised that that can be arranged on the desired date. I was asked to confirm it over email so that they can send me a quote for the event. After receiving no reply for a week and calling them again several times (they never called back as promised, never replied to my emails) they told me two days before the event, that they could not arrange it. The lady I spoke with was more than rude and didn't even provide a reason why they suddenly wouldn't accommodate us anymore. Extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and unaccommodating staff.

The fish was fishy and cold, it was awful and we couldn’t eat. I asked the staff to change, but the staff of lady never reply... It’s not a pasta, it’s a main dish. Even we accept the pats was different which we ordered. It was okay for us and the man of staff was kind as well. After that I asked the staff of lady about main fish dish, after she listened, she ignored. If the staff reply properly, we never post like this before. It’s not my taste, I can’t eat which uncooked…and we just don’t know why they could ignored… that’s all. it was so un pleasant moment for my trip!

I’be been living in Milan for 3+ years and just discovered this place; I’ve always passed by many times and finally decided to sit down for aperitivo. Great drinks, the staff is super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is very pleasant and a great place overall for a casual lunch or drink. Highly recommend for tourists as well as locals!

Really tasty food, good drinks, very good music and ambiance and the staff was more than friendly. Definitely recommend the bar!

Wonderful service. The bartender made our drinks over because they were just a bit too sweet. They are so kind and sweet. The atmosphere is wonderful.

I was in town for a week and was staying a few blocks from Duomo di Milano for work. My first night, I passed Top and was instantly curious about this unassuming, yet chic, establishment a few short blocks from what I thought would be my destination. A quick glance at the (week’s) menu told me that this was a place worth stopping at. A short while later I realized that I no longer had any need to walk the rest of the way to tourist central. This was a place worth spending time at. With options ranging from Sea Bass, to Beet Root Gnochetti, to a Cheeseburger, this menu could satisfy even the pickiest of pallets. Bar none, the thing I was happiest with was the service. It’s sometimes hard to feel at home in a foreign country, yet the team at Top accomplished just that. Over the course of my stay in Milano, I passed the restaurant several times and each time was greeted with a wave, which I just took as a kind gesture. When I did eventually return, the staff greeted me as if I were a regular and remembered my order from my first time there, four days prior. I can assure you, that I did not order anything out of the ordinary that first night. The second time around was even better than the first, with both food and drink recommendations that I would not have picked myself, but was all the more satisfied for having tried. I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in town.

To quote my mom, “This is our best meal in Italy.” We initially wanted to come here just for aperitivi, but it was late enough for dinner so we had a proper meal here and it was amazing! From the antipasto salmon tartar to the duck and cod pasta dishes, to the octopus secondi. Everything. So good. Oh, and the service and staff were so friendly and welcoming, from the chat questions to phone calls to in person.
