Antenore era un principe troiano al quale, secondo Tito Livio, si deve la fondazione di PadovaDopo la distruzione di Troia, Antenore raggiunse il nord Italia , giunse nel Veneto con la moglie, i figli superstiti e alcuni alleati dei Troiani e fondò Antenorea, denominata in seguito Padova, dove poi morì.
The so-called Antenore tomb is a medieval aedicule which, according to legend, should contain the remains of the mythical founder of Padua. Antenore was a Trojan prince to whom, according to Tito Livio, we owe the foundation of Padua. After the destruction of Troia, Antenore reached northern Italy, arrived in Veneto with his wife, surviving children and some Trojan allies and founded Antenorea, named in followed Padua, where he later died.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storica tomba medievale, falsamente attribuita al mitico fondatore di Padova. In realtà, dovrebbero essere i resti di un guerriero ungherese e non del principe trioiano. Essa si può ammirare in pieno centro storico, sulla piazza omonima, a pochi passi dall' università.
Historic medieval tomb, falsely attributed to the mythical founder of Padua. In fact, they are supposed to be the remains of a Hungarian warrior and not the Trio prince. It can be admired in the historic center, on the homonymous square, a few steps from the university.
