When I went to pick up my Tim tourist SIM card, that I paid for online ahead of time, I was told their computer is not working at the moment. She suggested that I go to a Tim store in Rome centrale. I sent my wife over just 2 min after with the same voucher. They provide her the SIM card. Wondering is it the computer issue got resolved in 2 mins or they just didn't like my face :(?

Arrived after long international flights. Purchased 2 x Tourist Sim Cards. The Tim representative took a very long time organising himself. Took my money. Took passport details and loaded a "different and incorrect name", to sim cards. Said 30 mins to be activated. 3 hours later still nothing! Tim F.C.O. are providing some sort of scam for tourists. Very, very inconvenient trying to negotiate Rome and liaise with Bookings and Transport and Accommodation and Travel companions with No data? These guys have no idea the amount of trouble this causes. I suggest avoid Tim F.C.O. and take your business to another store where they can provide you good service and assurance. Tim Termini are better and helped me.

TIM as a provider is a complete rip-off. 35euros for 20Gb of internet (no calls or messages included) and while I was getting the SIM card no less than 3 people complained that they got a bogus charge of exactly 1.5 euro on their number for making a call or sending a message (which should be impossible to do because the package doesn’t include calls or messages). I thought it was just something they did wrong. Lo and behold 4 days later the exact same charge of 1.5 euro appears on my number and I then had to pay their minimum amount of credit recharge which is 7 euros (because they had shut off my 4g internet without even a text message, leaving me high and dry on the highway with no way to use google maps). How the f*** can I have negative 1.5 euro credit on a prepaid number? Do you even know what prepaid means? Tourists beware and stay far far away!

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PROVIDE YOU WITH NO SERVICE. Got 2 SIM cards from this store was told it would work within 15minutes which it didn't. Called the store from Messina and was told that had to wait 24hours instead. Still didn't work after 24hours went to a local store in Messina and the lady helped us out and advised that the SIM cards weren't even active and we had to purchase 2 new ones as these could only be actived by the Rome store. Not only did the service not work the Rome store ripped us off as the SIMs to purchase locally were half the price. Was advised by the store consultant to go back and get a refund. Went back to Rome store to get a refund and suddenly no one knows how to do their job or how to help or what a refund is, but willing to joke around with their colleagues about it. Was told that they would call me back with a solution. Waited 3 weeks constantly calling the store spoke to Silvia and who pretends to help you but is just like the rest of the stupid team there, no one called back, refused to answer any of my calls, kept hanging up on me. Called and messaged the TIM social media and their 119 number and no one again willing to help. This is disgusting service of a supposedly reputable company.

Was sold a SIM mostly designed for Italy instead of the one designed for roaming... 25€ for 50GB sounds nice until you find out only 5GB for roaming...! SIM I wanted was 20€ for 10GB throughout EU... NOT HAPPY

Expect to pay 35 Euros instead of 30 for the tourist SIM.. not exactly sure why but I’m assuming it’s because it’s a third-party store and not an official TIM store. You could wait until Rome Termini to save a few. IMPORTANT: if you get the Tourist SIM, be sure to turn off FaceTime and iMessage if you have an iPhone. Even if you don’t use them, these services may try to connect and show as β€œusage”. In my case, this resulted in a 0,45 Euro charge which shut down all of my services until I paid off my negative balance. No warning, no texts, no payment options, just switched off while I was roaming around Italy. Poor customer experience and not well thought out. My reception was good throughout Italy until this, so 3 stars for that. Next time I will probably go with Orange Holiday SIM, which is 40 Euros, but I will probably end up paying TIM that much along with some headache.

Needed a SIM card quick between flights. They were very accommodating, we got in and out super fast. No hassle. Best of all, we didn't even have to leave the airport

Employee of this place were very helpful and nice. I got 10GB plan for 30 days and it was only 30 euros and worked great. It also was several times cheaper than Vodafone.
