★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent and amazing. The food was fabulous and the staff is really friendly, nice and they love what they serve. We loved the pasta with duck, the special salad and the pasta ripiena with Zucca. I’m catalan and I love places that reivindicate their own culture and story. Bravo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at this restaurant was incredible...one of the best meals I've had in Italy in 3 months. The butter and sage tortellini was incredibly flavorful, the wine was delicious and inexpensive, and the tiramisu was a little different than the rest and amazing. The staff was really friendly and helpful also. Definitely worth trying!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very negative experience: we waited for 80 minutes for a plate of pasta but they forgot about my wife's order, so she got her serving another 15 minutes later. The staff commented that "it happens" (eventually I was not charged for this order). Food was good, but I could see that they were very slow also with other tables (such as forgetting to serve the ordered drinks)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you stop in Mantua, do yourself a favor and have a meal here. It is probably more expensive than the average restaurant in the area, but the food, the wine and the service are excellent. They take pride in rethinking Mantuan dishes, and will spend time explaining to you the whys and the hows (even in English, which was very welcome by my partner). We had the tortelli (traditional with pumpkin and amaretto, and more modern with spinach and mint) and some excellent spaghetti alla chitarra. Top notch place that absolutely deserves a visit.
