A quanto si legge dalla descrizione, la scultura è stata fatta da artisti originari di Rapa Nui e donata a Livorno.
Posizionata spalle al mare e rivolta verso le case per vegliarle, proprio come le statue dell'isola di Pasqua.
Molto azzeccata la posizione, la si può vedere durante una passeggiata lungomare o dopo una colazione al vicino chalet.

Comunque ben fatta.
È di legno e non di pietra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come da tradizione quando originari di Rapa Nui vanno in un luogo donano una scultura, più precisamente un Moai, per suggellare l' amicizia e il rispetto che hanno per il luogo scelto.
Posizionata spalle al mare proprio come le statue dell'isola di Pasqua.
Non molto pertinente la posizione, ma la statua ha una buona fattura e sembra che protegga dal mare la popolazione.
