★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monumento di Giacomo Leopardi: realizzata sulla scenografica piazza municipale in occasione del primo centenario della nascita del poeta (1898), si erge sopra un piedistallo in bronzo con un'aquila e iscrizione commemorativa. La statua ritrae in forme immaginarie il poeta raccolto nell'atto di pensare, con il volto leggermente malinconico, mentre fissa in basso la piazza.
Monument of Giacomo Leopardi: built on the scenic municipal square on the occasion of the first centenary of the poet's birth (1898), it stands on a bronze pedestal with an eagle and commemorative inscription. The statue portrays the poet in imaginary forms, collected in the act of thinking, with a slightly melancholy face, while staring down at the square.
