f	francesca laporta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo oggi siamo andati negli orari di apertura indicati ma lo abbiamo trovato chiuso senza alcun cartello o avviso. Al telefono ci hanno risposto che il museo è chiuso per lavori di restauro. Credo che per incentivare il turismo sia importante dare informazioni attendibili circa gli orari e le date di apertura, arrivare e trovare chiuso non invoglia certo a tornare. Unfortunately today we went in the indicated opening hours but we found it closed without any sign or warning. On the phone we were told that the museum is closed for restoration work. I believe that to stimulate tourism it is important to give reliable information about opening times and dates, arriving and finding closed certainly does not encourage us to return.

Però non ci sono quasi per nulla cartigli o indicazioni di cosa si stia guardando, non fosse stato per un affabile signore che ci si è simpaticamente 'appioppato' da metà visita in poi (penso di aver capito si chiami Guerrino) ora ne sapremmo mooolto meno: alle domande non ha risposto mai ma di sua iniziativa ci ha spiegato tante curiosità, ma soltanto a noi in quel momento, gli altri avventori non hanno avuto questa bizzarra opportunità! Suggerisco di trascrivere ogni nota fornita dal Signore in questione e corredare così con le dovute informazioni i pezzi esposti! Data la gratuità della visita lasciate un contributo o un'offerta, magari contribuirà (con aggiunta un po' di tempo dedicato ai cartigli) a migliorare questo originale museo del mare! The museum is very rich in photos, artifacts and everything that a sea museum can offer, even on the history of Porto Recanati ... Fuori nessuna giustificazione;il tutto in periodo turistico. Pro loco aggiornate!! All'ingresso abbiamo trovato un ragazzo disponibilissimo che ci ha dato anche alcune informazioni turistiche. Definitely worth a visit! Undemanding but undoubtedly enhances the stay in Porto Recanati. At the entrance we found a very helpful guy who also gave us some tourist information.

Consiglio sinceramente una visita per chi conosce da tanto Recanati. Locali molto validi e con spunti stimolanti. Devo ammettere che l'impressione è di un allestimento amatoriale in cui manca un percorso logico. Innamorato delle vecchie foto, ma le avrei affiancate a foto odierne e magari al piacevole plastico, che rimane un po isolato. Illuminazione che risulta non solo mortificante per i locali di evidente valore storico, ma al limite del pericoloso, scale e gradini poco visibili. Curioso per 2 visori per realtà virtuale abbandonati su delle seggiole, difficilmente utilizzabili senza personale o indicazioni chiare. Grande potenziale, da non disperdere.
