Coming from Tarvisio on the Alpe Adria Cyclepath I found his shop by chance and although it wasn't officially open that day, he immediately took the time to fix a problem I'd had with the gear shift since Villach. I will be forever grateful to Gilberto and thank my lucky star I stopped and tried his door. Grazie mille, Dankeschön, Gilberto! Sei un mito!???️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our Alpe Adria Bike Tour we had an accident. The front wheel of the bike was totally damaged so we called Star Bike. They picked up the bike from the hotel in Venzona
where we stayed and brought it back the next morning so we could continue our tour.
