A	Alessandro Pavone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La spiaggia del Macarro è una delle cale più belle della costa perché è totalmente avvolta dalla natura, alle spalle c'è la vegetazione e di fronte il mare. Poco distante, sotto l'ombra della vegetazione, vi è un ampio parcheggio a pagamento (5 €) oltre ad una piccola fila di posti liberi posti lungo la via che conduce al parcheggio. Dal parcheggio alla spiaggia vi è una comoda scalinata, non impegnativa, ma comunque non accessibile alle persone con disabilità. Nella cala sono presenti due lidi attrezzati con ogni tipo di servizio che purtroppo hanno occupato buona parte del spiaggia lasciando solo un angolo libero. A tal proposito elenco due note negative della parte libera: è la prima ad essere invasa dall'ombra con il calar del sole e l'acqua, per i primi metri dalla riva, è gelida probabilmente a causa dell'immissione di acque sorgive dal sottosuolo. P.S. Attenti a non poggiare l'asciugamano sulla battigia di uno dei due lidi perché i gestori sembrano essere molto attenti alle regole nonostante non le rispettano in prima persona: se la battigia deve essere lasciata libera per consentire il transito dei bagnanti, non vedo perché ci debbano essere parcheggiati lettini ed attrezzature tipo pedalò e canoe. I diritti vanno esercitati in ambo i sensi e non unilateralmente! Vi consiglio vivamente di perlustrare via mare le calette adiacenti, sono spettacolari, vere piscine naturali, vedrete i colori dell'acqua spaziare dall'azzurro al verde a seconda del tipo di fondale. Una piccola ma concreta esortazione al COMUNE DI MARATEA.....: CURATE IL VOSTRO PATRIMONIO È INEGUAGLIABILE.
