C	Caterina Melillo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arriviamo alla spiaggia nera, troviamo questo lido spartano dove non si trova affisso nulla sui tipi e costi dei servizi offerti (NULLA), prendiamo cmq un ombrellone e due lettini per la "modica" cifra di €30 (alle soglie del furto per una struttura del genere)...salgo per pranzo e nulla compare circa il menu con cibo e prezzi, ne chiedo uno cartaceo e mi viene risposto "te lo posso dire a voce..." basta...adios...dimenticavo, bagni con porta che non si chiudeva e senza sapone o igenizzante...Spenna turisti insomma... We arrive at the black beach, we find this Spartan beach where nothing is posted on the types and costs of the services offered (NOTHING), we take cmq an umbrella and two sunbeds for the "modest" sum of € 30 (on the threshold of theft for a structure like that) ... I go up for lunch and nothing appears about the menu with food and prices, I ask for a paper one and I am told "I can tell you verbally ..." enough ... adios ... I forgot, bathrooms with door that did not close and without soap or sanitizing ... Spenna tourists in short ...
A	Anna Allegro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Servizio al bar pessimo, imbarazzante, inadeguato alla bellezza del luogo. Semplicemente non andateci. Il menu non esiste, i prezzi non sono esposti ma decisi al momento dal cassiere, il cameriere lavora con pressappochismo, la cuoca urla dalla cucina disturbando tutto il locale, ma soprattutto tempi di attesa infiniti per ricevere due piatti freddi pagati a caro prezzo. Ripeto, non andateci, va boicottato. Bad service at the bar, embarrassing, inadequate to the beauty of the place. Just don't go there. The menu does not exist, the prices are not displayed but decided at the moment by the cashier, the waiter works with carelessness, the cook screams from the kitchen disturbing the whole place, but above all infinite waiting times to receive two cold dishes paid for at a high price. I repeat, do not go there, it must be boycotted.

Si potrebbe chiudere un occhio sul prezzo dell'ombrellone (30€ con 2 lettini) ma decisamente troppo alto il prezzo del bar (8€ un panino con la mortadella, 9€ una insalata col tonno). Undoubtedly deserving position, possibility to find parking easily if you avoid the rush hour. You could turn a blind eye to the price of the umbrella (€ 30 with 2 sunbeds) but the price of the bar is definitely too high (€ 8 a sandwich with mortadella, € 9 a salad with tuna).

La spiaggia è fatta da sassolini neri, che la rendono caratteristica. Presenti due bar con ombrelloni e lettini ai lati e una parte di spiaggia libera centrale. Vengono organizzati giri in gruppi con canoe per vedere le spiagge e grotte vicine, ma è possibile visitarle anche facendo snorkeling senza particolare difficoltà. Molto caratteristiche sono le grotte in cui si può entrare a nuoto e raggiungere la parte finale con spiaggette che sono spesso aperte nella parte alta da cui entra il sole, la più famosa è la grotta della Sciabella. Inoltre, sempre a nuoto o in canoa è possibile, andando verso nord, raggiungere in pochi minuti la spiaggia D'I Vranne, che nel 2016 è stata battezzata da Legambiente come la più bella d'Italia. The most beautiful beach of Maratea reachable by car (secure parking at 5 euros for the whole day). The beach is made of black pebbles, which make it characteristic. There are two bars with umbrellas and sunbeds on the sides and a part of the central free beach. Group tours with canoes are organized to see the nearby beaches and caves, but you can also visit them by snorkeling without particular difficulty. Very characteristic are the caves where you can go swimming and reach the final part with beaches that are often open in the upper part from which the sun enters, the most famous is the Sciabella cave. Furthermore, always swimming or canoeing it is possible, going north, to reach in a few minutes the D'I Vranne beach, which in 2016 was named by Legambiente as the most beautiful in Italy.

Acqua limpida e sabbia di ciottoli neri .Parcheggio euro 5 dove una signora molto gentile e simpatica ci ha dato tutte le informazioni per raggiungere la spiaggia libera. We were on the last Sunday of September, a quiet day, took 2 deckchairs and an umbrella at 13.00 for 15.00 euros. Clear water and black pebble sand. Parking € 5 where a very kind and nice lady gave us all the information to reach the free beach.
