D	Domenick Chirillo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È stata la prima tappa del mio viaggio in Basilicata, non ho prenotato il biglietto d'ingresso ma sono stato tra i primi ad entrare visto che sono arrivato con leggero anticipo rispetto all'orario di apertura, fissato alle 10:30. La guida ha domandato se fossi in possesso del Green Pass e, dopo una breve presentazione, ha spiegato nel dettaglio ed in maniera comprensibile le caratteristiche della grotta. Di per sè la grotta non è grandissima ma in quel piccolo antro si possono osservare veramente tanti particolare di cui ignoravo l'esistenza. La guida si è dimostrata molto preparata oltre che puntuale, se volessi trovare una pecca direi che il parcheggio a bordo strada non è il massimo, ma personalmente non l'ho trovato un grosso problema visto che ero in anticipo. It was the first stop on my trip to Basilicata, I didn't book the entrance ticket but I was among the first to enter as I arrived slightly earlier than the opening time, set at 10:30. The guide asked if I was in possession of the Green Pass and, after a short presentation, explained the characteristics of the cave in detail and in an understandable way. In itself the cave is not very large but in that small cave you can really observe many details of which I did not know existed. The guide proved to be very prepared as well as punctual, if I wanted to find a flaw I would say that the roadside parking is not the best, but personally I did not find it a big problem since I was early.

La guida è stata molto simpatica, professionale, ci ha raccontato la storia della grotta e tante curiosità. Il prezzo secondo me è stato giusto. L'unica cosa negativa è che trovare parcheggio è quasi impossibile A lovely place, the cave is small but worth a visit. Temperatura di 18 gradi anche in piena estate... raggiungibile solo facendo un piccolo tratto a piedi, ingresso € 5 a persona Superb karst cave with many stalactites, stallagmites, sails and columns. Temperature of 18 degrees even in the height of summer ... reachable only by walking for a short distance, admission € 5 per person

Consiglio di visitarla nell'orario di apertura mattutino alle 10.30 perché non c'è affollamento. Unico lato negativo non è presente il parcheggio, quindi bisogna lasciare la macchina in una piazzola di sosta lungo la statale. Small cave but worth a visit. the entrance fee is € 5 for adults and € 3 for children. Very prepared guide. I recommend visiting it during the morning opening hours at 10.30 because there is no crowding. The only downside is there is no parking, so you have to leave your car in a lay-by along the state road.
f	flavien fagone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trovata per sbaglio percorrendo la strada del lungo mare grazie ad un cartello ben visibile ( forse l'unico). All'uscita il custode vi darà una cartina con tutti i luoghi da visitare nei d'intorni che per gran parte della Calabria. Una mezz'ora di tempo che vale perdere sia per la bellezza del luogo che della storia. E come il personale abbia raccontato con non poche risate perché molto alla mano. E da lì consiglio la spiaggia nera poco distante ( ma purtroppo poco segnalata lungo il percorso) Found by mistake along the road along the sea thanks to a clearly visible sign (perhaps the only one). K	Katia Ca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trovata per sbaglio mentre ci recavano alla Statua del Cristo di Maratea. Per entrare bisogna rispettare degli orari in base all'ordine di arrivo. Mentre fuori faceva tanto caldo li dentro si stava benissimo. La guida davvero esaustiva e tanto simpatica ci ha illustrato bene tutto e spiegato la storia di questa grotta senza farci per nulla annoiare e alla fine ci ha anche dato una cartina con altri posti da poter visitare.All'interno si possono osservare stalattiti e stalagmiti, spaghetti e piccole statue che si sono formate da sole nel tempo. Natura suggestiva bella da vedere! Found by mistake on our way to the Statue of Christ in Maratea. To enter you must respect the times based on the order of arrival. Si lascia l'auto lungo la strada e tramite una rampa di scale si arriva all'imboccatura della grotta, dove vi accoglie la guida. (Attualmente si paga 5 intero e 3 ridotto da 6 a 12 anni, gratis sotto i 6). Una volta scesi un paio di gradini vi si apre una grotta non molto grande ma stupenda piena di stalattiti e stalagmiti e colonne dalle forme e dallo spessore più svariati, che in fondo alla grotta hanno formato quasi un presepe. Bellissimo e illuminato adeguatamente. Molto ben manutenute. La guida tra l'altro molto brava ed appassionata. Io non ci andavo da quando ero ragazzo ed è stato veramente piacevole rivederla.
