★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay if you want to see Amalfi coast. Sorrento itself is a nice and very beautiful. You will see Lemon and orange tress full of fruits everywhere if you visit in summer. You can take ferry to islands like capri and ischia from here. Takes less time than Naples. Car parking is very costly, 25 euros per day. But amazing place, artistic old city and roads full of shops with all things lemon in it. Do not forget to buy Lemoncelo and Lemon soaps!
