β β β β β Its a place where you have to reserve some time, more than you would think. We hanvenβt had any financial issue we paid a bit more than expected but within acceptable range. The lady is a bit unorganized and has problems with prioritizing tasks and as a effect customer service suffers. The car was clean and decent. Dont be afraid to use their services but be cautious. Good luck.
Edit: after a while and some additional issues, imaginative additionall fees I strongly donβt recommend! They will try to rip u off!!

β β β β β Great experience renting a car! We needed a car last minute and the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating both on the phone and in person. She found us a suitable car and made an effort to keep us safe on the road. She was very professional and did the paperwork quickly and efficiently. The cost was fair and the pick up and return of the car easy. I totally recommend Sicily by Car and thank the manager for her support and good work!

β β β β β They are short-staffed. Here are a few pointers:
1. Purchase the ZTL passes from a tabaccheria/tobacco place. Follow the instructions on the pass.
2. Follow speed limits.
3. Have an international drivers permit.
4. Come early.

β β β β β Though their establishment may look nice, their customer service is everything but. The lady at the counter was nice enough to offer us a reasonably good deal but subsequently gave us little to no time to read through the contract because, and I quote, βwe have other customers waitingβ. The personal info on the contract was littered with typos and we were told to βjust signβ, while they charge 25β¬ to make changes to the invoice. Obviously, for insurance purposes, the information has to be correct. Rushing the signing process is therefore not something you should do to your clients. Furthermore, the prices were all over the place. At first it was 125, then 150 and suddenly 170 because βthe system canβt take any lowerβ. Thankfully, when we started to reconsider, it did (wonder why that was). Not that it really mattered though, minutes later we were given an ultimatum: sign now or leave. Ask yourself: is that how you want to be spoken to while trying to avoid excessive extra charges for correcting a handful of typos on your invoice? Didnβt think so. I can not, in good conscience, recommend Sicily by Car to anyone. Look further.

β β β β β Please be reminded that they will charge you 60β¬ EACH TIME if you get a fine, even a parking ticket, just to transfer your info to the police, and better be aware than this no law zone of an Island (you'll see that in the first 5 minutes of driving) you get fines for anything, will quickly double your holiday expenses just with Sicily by Car.
Great Idea to put a car rental office in a ONE WAY STREET with lot of traffic, so the only employee of the office can RUSH you through signing the contract because the car you haven't even rented yet is blocking the street.
