★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Sicily to track down my roots. I need go no further than this ristorante. Traditional Siciliano cuisine like mia nonna used to make. The bucatini alla Norma is a local dish that will fill your belly and soothe your soul. My wife had the ravioli pistachio which was made from scratch on premise. The ravioli was light as a feather and the sauce was unique and flavorful. Tutti e buoni.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this restaurant. Hotel recommended this as we wanted something "not too fancy".
Started with Antipasti...which is basically a buffet of 30 different appetizers that you get to choose from. You can go any number of times. Cost $7.50
I then had the Carbonara which was ok. Wife also had a pasta which she enjoyed a lot. Both were less than 15 euros each.
Had two bottles of wine. And then ended with the casatta... The entire bill was 80 euros.
This is close to all the major attractions. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but harmless (seemed to be all Tamils from Sri Lanka).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst restaurant I've ever been to in Italy. The food is extremely terrible. The grilled fish and shrimp is overcooked and bitter. And they charge cover fee without providing bread basket or wifi. And the waiter is very rude.
Those who gave 5 stars, I can only infer that you are hired. Any person with common sense won't regard its food as acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled on this restaurant because of the rain. And it was amazing! One of the best meals we have had on our two week trip. The pasta, sea bass and veal were all amazing. The family who runs it is so sweet. Very well priced for what you get. Really an authentic and delicious experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve eaten at a lot of places in Palermo and this hidden gem is one of our favourites. The food and service here are phenomenal and traditional Sicilian, and it is excellent value for money. Great for getting away from the chaos of the main street.
