★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella zona esisteva un tempo un' associazione che praticava la montagna, denominata Piccozze e Scarponi. Alcuni componenti di tale associazione, nell' anno 1966 fondarono la sotto sezione CAI Valdiserchio, come distaccamento della sezione CAI di Lucca. L' aumento del numero dei soci e con la buona volontà di alconi, nel 1994 l' associazione divenne autonoma come sziione CAI di Barga.
In the area there was once an association that practiced the mountain, called Piccozze and Scarponi. Some members of this association, in the year 1966, founded the subsection CAI Valdiserchio, as a detachment of the CAI section of Lucca.
