Bella a metà!
Half beautiful! The structure and the first greenhouse are magnificent, but the outdoor garden is practically a lawn devoid of any well-kept shrub and vegetable (paradoxically, the vegetation of the park is better than inside the greenhouse) so it is not worth paying a ticket to enter. If you set up the garden then it will definitely be worth it

Beautiful renovation of the historic 1839 building. The greenhouse is a cast iron and peperino iron structure with very beautiful polychrome windows. Small but interesting naturalistic journey between the "arid" area of the greenhouse and the "humid" area of the cave with the lakes. Nature, biodiversity and an excellent set-up. The exterior is not yet 100% but potentially interesting. Unfortunately the whole park of Villa Torlonia still needs a lot of care and maintenance. Don't miss the Casina delle civette!

Very nice, recently renovated. Unfortunately the tower cannot be visited due to a pandemic and other areas are not accessible. It is very small and perhaps the 5 euro ticket for a few minutes visit is excessive. Having said that, it remains characteristic to immerse oneself in an arabesque context in the heart of Rome.

The result of the restoration is consistent and it shows ... but the overall result is really beautiful and evocative. The choice of plants is accurate but the use of drawers for the underground strongly penalizes the magic of the place. The leaf-shaped seats are nice. The external part is certainly very impressive. The visit without a guide deprives you of the understanding of what you are seeing and in any case the attraction is not only the pavilion with the windows and what remains of the cave but also the Moorish tower which, sooner or later, will open to the public. Bring a reservation during the weekend, there is a lot of queue ... the adjoining ticket office if there are no seats will be able to do little. Look at the photos and other reviews of Rome and its wonders that I have done.

It’s a fifteen minute experience. Unfortunately it was also a fifteen minute experience waiting to buy a ticket simply because I and the people behind me had to wait ages whilst the single person selling tickets processed a group in front of us who also wanted to buy Rome Museum passes which seemed to require incredible bureaucracy. Why this process has to be done at the same ticket counter is a mystery. And all whilst two other staff members stood about and watched, presumably because they don’t have the training to sell tickets too. Bizarre. The attraction itself is best described as a large greenhouse with some relatively interesting stained glass reflecting the sunlight across the floor. Lots of cacti but nothing more interesting than you’d see in a garden centre. The outside is more interesting with some beautiful architecture of different era. On the whole it is only €4 and it’s good to see a new development in the Villa of this kind.

Beautiful building in the middle of the park. Sadly, you need to get a ticket to visit its interiors, while it doesn’t seem to be worth it.

Refurbished and open since 8th of december 2021. It shows a room with glass works renovated and a small garden. There is a small bookshop and a cozy garden backyard. Cost of the ticket 4€, free with MIC card Nice plants and colourful ambiance, better home in a sunny day. Unfortunately the tower is not visitable due to covid restrictions.

An interesting Moors architectural piece, in the cebter of Rome, with roman details outside and very well refurbished. The plants inside and all the details are extremely good, but sooo small to be just a single visit.
