★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is interesting wander around the museum and find some hidden gems, like the terrace on the roof of the museum or the neon sign on the lowest floor. It has a lot of work space for students and there are a lot of students there. It’s very pleasing to walk around there and take pictures if you’re an influencer or a photographer. I would recommend a visit just for the experience, and if you have some time to kill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pink Floyd exposition was awesome! You put your headset on an just walk around. One album after another. One mini documentary after another. The headset will automatically switch context depending on your position in the building. All surrounded by beautiful music. There are dozens of guitars, drums, keyboards and other stuff used by the band. We took 2 hours to see everything. A wonderful experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The roof of the museum is worth to mention. As a great counterweight to chinese kitchen invasion, this italian food buffet managed by talented cooks provides a great chance to try various specialities in one meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something different in bustling Rome, a breath of fresh air. Especially the rooftop terrace is awesome to have a caffè. Also, the gift shop is very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The MACRO is located in a quieter district, a bit outside of the main tourist spots of the city. The building archtechture is interesting and inviting. The exhibitions are a question of taste/interest. The bar/cafeteria was closed. The shop has a great selection of art books/presents/souvenirs. Bus line 80 (in direction to the city centre) is only a couple of steps away from the entrance.

I went on a regular weekday to see what the museum has to offer.
I was surprised because I understood nothing.
Random pieces win every floor.
For me it was a total and utter waste of time.
I don’t know if during exhibitions it’s any good. But on a normal, don’t go.
Good thing is, there was no entrance fee.
